Funny, in regards to to the SF90 vs 296, the 296 clearly wins sound and emotion, and value, and for some design. I like the SF90 design, but I like the 296 Speciale above all other 296 or SF90 variants. After that comes out, it's be the two speciales at the top for me, and I'm not sure which one will reign supreme! Oh, and sorry, my previous post should have said "I" prefer the 296 over SF90, no "u." Typo...

It's a matter of opinion. I think the SF90 sounds better than the 296.
For me, the SF90 wins over the 296 GTB in the following points:
    Sound
    Driveability
    Design
    Performance

Yes 296 Speciale is probably better than the 296 and SF90. But then I'd still prefer the SF90 XX.

I have a SF90 and a Challenge, I find it odd you are comparing the two as a use case, the SF90 is the most versatile supercar in my fleet and anyone who actually owns and uses one they way they are meant to be used will agree, the Challenge is an ok’ish track car to have a bit of fun in, there is zero change I would chose the Challange over the SF90.

I don’t think so, I will have to check because I didn’t pay too much attention to it, I am pretty sure I was offered to pay for a hotel room if I selected to stay at the hotel picked by Ferrari and I did say yes to this.

I was invited to the reveal. I've never been to any ferrari launch and wondering if it's worth it? Live in US so it's a significant travel to get to Milan.

will be interesting to see if the sf90 replacement has any more room for luggage, in terms of versatility

I have to fly 24 hours in total in each direction you don’t have it nearly as bad I assume, is it worth it? That depends on you I guess, it’s usually a nice affair, dinner and catching up with friends and/or making new ones, you only live once and opportunities like this don’t come around too often, IMO it’s always worth having fun if you can afford the time.

I think i'm fine with the flying time. But I think it's a little sus that it seems certain clients don't get charged anything for access. And others get charged 6K EUR (Super Bowl tickets prices LOL).

6K is adapted to the expected price of the car :p
Joke aside (although it's only speculation), I think Ferrari is charging anyway (except maybe for a few ultra-VIP) but dealers elect to pay for some of their customers. It could also be that Ferrari ask for the dealers to pay for a number of customers, but not for all.
Could be similar to what they do (did ?) for the Esperienza Ferrari events.

I wonder if they might adapt the Purosangue/ F80 suspension?

yes only 13 hours in air for me. plus 4 driving/waiting at airport. 24 hours is wild you must be quite far away.

I am not sure how it works, my dealer has invited me and they might be covering the charges, it was not mentioned to me, I would also check what that $6k includes because I was offered an option for a room at Mandarin Oriental in Milan at own cost unless I decide to book my own accommodation, Ferrari secured rooms at this particular hotel for their guests should some would like to take the option. Maybe your charges include accomodation, etc. Nevertheless I am sure it will be a fun event as Ferrari events usually are.

Yes, I am very far away and I do 4 to 5 trips to Europe every year to drive my race car, but I am used to it, no choice if I want to have fun haha.

I actually just landed in Milan to spend some time in the Dolomites. The flight wasn't terrible. Speaking of racing cars - Sept 9th isn't great timing for us Americans racing cars since the last Challenge weekend begins Sept 10th at Laguna Seca. oh well good problems to have. Cheers to you.

Love SF90, 1000hp fast spider usable - stays due to loss in value.
Tail lights are fine, silly as it's a great looking rear end.
IMO 360 is the cleaner design vs 430 458 488.
Varryx on IG - posted modern Ferrari's on track with sounds - F80 sounds dead.
SF90M "spanks" SF90 values, holding SF90 for XX made no sense as early owners dumped.
Let's hope they raise SF90M min of 100k add tariffs to spare the SF90 owners. wishful

I’m just curious—do electric turbos also help reduce emissions?

Not directly… for emissions, we are considering anything except CO2 (which is Strictly Connected to fuel consumption), the most effettive parts are catalysts and GPF

@day355 is the sept reveal the sf90 successor? Is ferrari planning to do a NA V8 with hybrid assist for the sf90 replacement? Or is there a plan to do one?

I very seriously doubt the V8 will be NA for the SF90 replacement.
