Yeah, old Maserati V8 exhaust IS filthy, the gross polluters of polluters! The later first Biturbos are actually pretty clean by comparison especially if you have all of the cats in place plus the air pump. But that is a suicide configuration for the carb cars.
So finally my Quattroporte is home, she runs good but still needs some carb tuning. She looks so dang cool!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A friend just contacted me that he has a complete set of wood for the interior of QPlll that he wants to sell. I have no interest in this item.
I am still hoping to find a pair of front seats and/or the actual leather itself in order to have mine redone in the front. This, of course, remains a challenge that the leather is without tears, scratches, holes, is discolored, or dried out. The rest of my car’s interior is in fairly good shape and why I hesitate to have the entire interior redone so it’s matching. Someone please direct message me if you have this or know someone that could have good leather.
You probably should contact Maserati's parts reps in Modena directly or Bill McGrath's in the UK or Candini or Campana both in Modena. Perhaps they know who might still have that mottled brown leather. Don't hold your breath ...
Cool collection of cars! I have a qp3 and also a porsche 944 turbo together with my father. I'm only missing the ferrari, but who knows
Looking to sell my QP3. 85k Miles. Runs and drives, but losing water. Unsure of issue. Located in los angeles, can assist with shipping worldwide. $8k OBO, really dont want to see the car parted out or robbed of its engine. PM me if interested. Thanks. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Everyone! I am looking for an oil pressure sender for my 85 QPIII. The unit on my car is a Jaeger made sender, there has to be a cross reference for another car? MIE doesn't have one the last time I called them a few months ago. Does anyone have one or know what other cars would take this one?
^^^^ is the sender like this Jaeger one? https://www.partscollector.com/en/mostraArticolo.php?IDArticolo=12162 Hope so. Mark
Agree - exact part number would be helpful.. If it's part number 403043400 or 433043300 scuderiacarparts.com is possibilty... No guarantee however..
Hi everyone! Thank you for your replies. Here is the part # 433043300 - 330/6/11 -for the oil pressure sender on my QPIII.
Thinking about removed side mirror on my 85 qp3 looks better or not. Any thoughts?? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well those mirrors are quite ugly but damn they work well. I'm not sure what works as well and look better? They look like crap on my Bora.
[QUOTE="staatsof, post: 150211693, member: [/QUOTE] oh in a Bora yeah I can see the issue. I don’t like the wipers and the left mirror either.,, but now it looks like a concept car.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I see no side view mirror on the right. You prefer that look ? Trying to get people’s opinions Image Unavailable, Please Login
Personally, I think the car looks better with both mirrors! When I see just one, I think what happened to the other one - did someone hit it! Mike
Thanks. I agree. It’s funny after 100years of cars we are kinda used to seeing side view mirrors and if they aren’t there you know something is missing. I don’t like them but in this case yeah both need to be on the car…
Hiya so my car is a European version QPIII and they usually do not come with a passenger side mirror. I can tell you this. I think it looks cool but I do not like driving it without a passenger side mirror, especially backing the car up.
