Any mechanic in Ontario who could do a PTU rebuild?

    I'm considering an FF or GTC4. PTU is a concern of mine and I've been looking for an Ontario mechanic who would be willing to do a PTU rebuild with the upgraded parts. I'm in Ottawa and have talked to Ferrari Quebec, Pantuso (Ottawa) and Daytona (GTA). None of these are willing to do a PTU rebuild. Anyone wth experience doing this in Ontario or Montreal?

    Just wondering why you have your heart set on these models? I was considering looking into doing the repairs, but the R&D would never return any kind of significant profit in the Canadain market.

    V12 and four seats. I did look into a 612 but I hated the jerkiness of the transmission.

    I suppose, but you will be sacrificing reliability for shifting..FF unfortunately is cheap for a reason.
