Is this Bronze color named after the Americano Cauley dealership owner?

Yes but I seem to recall the 'Cauley' itself name was dropped from the latest sample. A factory trend the way Grigio Coburn paint also got a new identification...

James Coburn’s Ferrari California was re painted Nero.

A rare color at that time. it gained respect. Sold for a high price at auction here in the USA.

I’m referring to the American actor James Coburn.

Grigio Ingrid was so named after film director Rossellini’s wife famed anctress Ingrid Bergman.

Sometimes it’s hard to understand the intent of the design team.

It’s always good to see the other cars. So the interesting thing about the F80 is that the drivers area is made distinctive compared to the passenger side.

The TOFM article shows the same idea with the 12C in the sporty car. The contrasting color wraps around the driver seat, moves along the door and then up and around the drivers binacle.

It’s a strong design statement. One can opt for a less strong contrasting color. And then decide if this is going to be applied to the passenger side . If so then the passenger binacle makes sense from a design perspective.

Then one can bring the exterior color inside the cockpit , as you have done.

I used to have a 599GTB with a red interior and my wife loved it. She suggested that we add more red on the interior of the 12Cilindri which I was happy to do but I am having thoughts about the upper dash because it looks a bit off in the renderings and it's not something common that I can see on another car in real life and make up my mind.

Since you asked, I prefer a black dash. Love the rest of your selections. It looks fantastic!

Personally, I would avoid the red on the top of the dash, the glare will be an issue. Interestingly, even the simulator shows the red glare on the windshield. Black is the best for the dash top.

I agree with Xray that black is the best choice for the dash. Personally not a fan of the bi-color seats but it has become a thing to do on Ferrari interiors. The F80 was promoting this idea of different seat colors more recently. Many years ago someone ordered a 16M with the horse embroidered on the headrest in a different color for the passenger seat compared to the driver's seat. Very negative response to this idea. Many asked if Ferrari had made a mistake not matching the two horses as requested. The idea that someone would choose this design choice was not well received. Next up the F60 expanded this idea with a different color for the driver's area. Somehow this became an accepted idea with it's very limited production. Now the bi-color idea has gained acceptance for the interior and now Ferrari is going outside with new versions of exterior colors combined on front to back or side to side. No limit design ideas now give more choices.

Nice picture. But the color rendition is misleading the eye about the real life color

this is the digital world we live in I guess.

I tried to do this with Rosso Giudecca, but it's not homologated for airbag safety, so no dice. In the end, probably better off because I had red seats as well. There is a TM car that Ferrari made that is half red, half black, but they have the red on the driver's side, so no airbag issues. To me, it catches the line off the door nicely, and cements the dual cockpit pod idea well.

The passenger side of the dash has alcantera which cannot be changed to leather due the airbag. So if one opts for the lower dash in leather this are will remain in alcantara. This are is where the 12 Cilindri Spider badge lives.

Well, I believe it can be leather or alcantara, but it cannot be a leather that hasn't been tested like the upgraded leather. That's why you can spend $30k on a TM lower dash, but have to use standard alcantara OR leather on the upper.

You could do the drivers seat red , with a Nero center stripe and keep the armrest black?
It’s a bold racing car look

Notice the cast alloy rim choice with the TOFM special spec 12C spider. Can’t tell if Ti Lugs are used to give the lightest set-up.

The name of the paint is Rosso Racing 2025.
Anyone know the pricing of this special color?
Available in the entire model range this year.

Here is another silver paint color for this 12 Cilindri Spider called Alluminio Opaco. As noted the glossy parts stay that way when an Opaco paint color is chosen.
Alluminio Opaco was first seen at the Geneva Motor Show when the F12 was introduced >

Would love to see a car in Rosso Mugello. Non-metallic deeper red shade.
