Does anyone have any information on a 1975 308 GT4 VIN # 10484? I am trying to register it in California but my DMV states there is an another title for the car in Arizona. I did not receive an Arizona title from Florida dealership where I purchased the car from. I have to clear this up before I can get my registration here. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

I am sure Mr. Dyerhaus will be along shortly, he has accumulated a lot of GT4 history. I have a photo of 10484 from about 7-8 years ago, probably from a "for sale" ad.

One thing I have seen multiple times is titles showing similar serial numbers but they are for a trailer or some other type of vehicle that is not even related to what you have? Are you sure the Arizona title is for a Ferrari 308 GT4?

Very true, when I purchased my GT4 25 years ago the 'bill of sale' from another state (they didn't have titles for old cars in that state) showed the VIN to be 413834, they had included the "4" from GT4 in the serial number. I had to bring in documents of the Ferrari serial number system and supply photos of all the number plates to finally convince the counter person that it might be legit and still had to get a supervisor to look up rules from that state to verify that they didn't title old vehicles. In all it was 3 trips to the Title Bureau to get an Ohio title.

BTW, 10484 looks just like my car.
