As mentioned before, the 15% is on import price and not MSRP, so that 8.5% on MSRP already covers most if not all of the 15%.
Curious about a detail on the rear bumper of the coupe. without optioning the carbon fiber, the standard part of the bumper that the horse is on appears to be black in the configurator images. However, I was watching a video and that part looked to be carbon fiber. Is there a way to option just that piece as carbon fiber rather than the whole bumper or is that piece standard carbon fiber? Guys how long did it take for the 296 speciale to show up on your app after paying a deposit? I paid my deposit maybe 5 days ago. or do you have to build one so it shows up? Just love seeing it there haha
No, you have to buy another option too. Don’t remember the code, I had the same issue and finally said no thanks.
That piece where the prancing horse is on, is the "rear bumper" and is available as an option in carbon fiber. Someone else had posted a diagram, let me try to repost it here, hope it works: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/attachments/upload_2025-7-25_16-53-6-jpeg.3857058/
I put my deposit down 3-4 months ago, and it showed up on the app a few days ago, same time as these other posts.
Decided for Grigio N and bi-color rims, plus small additions only, as I find the specs all very matching and complete
I paid my deposit 4 months ago and it has yet to show up. I’m not terribly worried about it. I know I am getting a car.
I thought it was one of the no cost carbon options - can also be had in gloss black for free. It doesn't have a line item cost on my configuration as specced in carbon (the same way as the other included default carbon options).
Me neither, but it irritates me that some dealers are better about following through with these details, while others are not. Mine, as you can tell, is often forgetting details, but with Ferrari's system, I have no choice for who I go to.
No, that piece in carbon is $15k. It is bigger than the strip in gloss black that it replaces. Looks like the challenge car. It’s been talked about a lot recently in this thread, if there’s confusion.
Image Unavailable, Please Login The personalization diagram shows the spoiler, which is included, and also the rear bumper, which is a $15k option as you note. Maybe this answers the question that the video showed something that is not possible, i.e., only the part with the horse is on being carbon fiber with the part underneath body color. Then is the standard piece gloss black separate from the part underneath that is body color?
putting a deposit down doesn't guarantee you an allocation from my understanding. depends on the dealership, but I don't count it as a certainty until I get a VIN assigned. YMMV.
You hope that dealerships were given numbers and they are only providing that many agreements with deposits to folks. Taking deposits for 15 vehicles when a current allocation is 5...hmmmm.
Right, as far as I know that piece is gloss black, in the carbon option replaces the whole upper Grill area. There has been some other earlier discussion about that part of the car, because some people have seen different horse placement in different pictures or videos. For example, I will also do a satin horse because it’ll match the titanium exhaust.
I agree. For some, deposit does not guarantee car. I was referencing my particular situation. I have a deposit, but I do not have the car in my App, and yet I am certain I will get a car.
Got it. Congrats! yes, the whole App experience is strange. When my GTS popped up one day it had a picture of my exact specification. Then a couple months later it disappeared. One day it has a link to the production pictures, the next day it doesn't. For the Roma Spider, the specifications were never correct in the App. But for the GTS they are perfect. Hope you see yours in the App soon. I am right there with you with no indication yet in the App.
I’ve done several new cars through my dealer. I spec the cars to the moon. I trade them back in when I am done. I keep the cars for years and years. I have a massive spec 12C finishing up at the factory. Zero doubts. Again, everyone’s situation (and dealer for that matter) is different.
