I had a CS for years with large seats, I recall spacious and very comfortable. I’m looking at another one with Medium seats, haven’t been able to sit in the car as it’s across the country. How Big of a size difference is it between large, Medium, and Small? I’m 6’1 and 220 so the medium seats are giving me pause.

    Thanks

Supposedly my 360 has medium sport seats, but being 6'2 they feel plenty roomy. I think that my shoulders are a touch higher than they are supposed to be, but it never bothered me.

I believe the difference is about 1/2" on the width, FWIW I have a set in my 360 and friends your size or larger have driven the car with no issues

Three sizes, the seat shells are all the same, the foam is different (there are fillets under the foam on M and S)

I had my M seats retrimmed and foam fillets removed to effectively make them Large, but also had the main bolster foam shaped to suit me better, seats are now incredibly comfortable.

This would be hilarious if this was the actual issue that got me to finally lose that 20 pounds.

Oh that's very cool I'm considering doing the same with mine this winter, also just trying to make the seat centers a little cushier and more comfortable in general. That shape on the tailbone area kinda sucks if I'm being honest.

Have you played around at all with tilting the seats as well with a spacer under the front? (did this in my Porsche GT4 is was gloriously better)

I haven’t, but it’s interesting you ask as I was considering the opposite - the shape of the underthigh bolster makes me want the rear raised a touch for long journeys, but I don’t want it permanent as I like to sit lower in the seat for the fun drives.

As I primarily use this car for long euro road trips I got some memory foam seat pads in a service station in France as a kind of test, it worked great so the idea is now I’ll get them shaped perfectly to sit inside the bucket thus raising the rear a touch, the trimmer will then trim it the same as the seat and they can just drop in when I fancy it.

So the size comes down to the width, not the height? Interesting

Yes, no difference in height at all - the shells of the 360 sports seats are all identical.

360 carbon racing seats are all the same shell, size is determined by foam, and CS seats are only different by the harness guides being satin black and the side panels being in carbon and not aluminium (Alcantara option vs leather option only has a different stitch pattern on the fabric, otherwise the same).

Later F430 carbon seats are different again - the shells are not the same shape as 360 seats, for example the side panels of an F430 seat will not fit a 360 seat without modification, they have a built in coat hook on the rear.

I have medium Sparco carbon seats in the F430, 6'1" 195lbs, I wear a size small shirt (38" chest) fits like a glove. If you usually wear medium I'd probably go for the large size seat.
