Will any of you guys be @ this year’s Monterey Car Week….? I will be there there tomorrow and will be at the FOC and FCA meeting as well…would be nice to meet with some of you F -Chatters.

 

I just came back... it is a mess! So much worse than any other year I've gone. I was planning on going back on Saturday, but after today I won't. 17 Mile wasn't too bad, but you can't get into Spanish Bay anymore, they only let you get into the lot if you are staying there or if you valet. So much of Ocean Avenue was blocked off (today because of FOC Concorso), that it was impossible to find parking or even get 100 yards. But if you don't mind the craziness, I'm sure it's otherwise as fun as usual.

I get lonely and want to look at the Ferraris. Test drove a 430 Spider with my niece, after a visit to Ferrari San Diego I now need to buy a 360 CS. I think you bought a blue TDF 296, that car is insane.

 

I had 458 Spider from FSD... had a 296 GTS deposit which I ended up canceling... will circle back after some other priorities.

Thx for the feedback...agree it's a mess, especially if you follow the masses ...But It's pretty Special event if you can find a way to manage and navigate through it all. We used our gate badge and the lower Carmel Gate and stayed off 1 and Ocean Ave.

If you try and go In/Out of PB you get screwed and looses 2-3 hrs, so you will have to choose that battle if you really need to leave.
