My 12C spec is completely wrong. Fortunately the production photo appears correct. That’s the most unnerving part of the process, is worrying incessantly about whether they build the right car and that fact that the App is boogered up does not inspire confidence.

Apparently not. Less luggage space due to new air ducts. Can someone confirm ?

my configuration has the option INTA (interior color in Nero) for about 5.xk€. Does anybody know what that is and what the regular standard would be?

Mine are never close - all the special items are never on the app / spec on Ferrari app.
I would go by what you signed off on - there is no guarantee but so far mine have all come in as specified.

I’m told that all the dealers have to have their allocations into Ferrari end of this month. If you have a real allocation, it should be seen in your Ferrari App by end of month. If it is already there, your dealer is ahead of the curve.

@SECRET what is the material of the hood intake (NRCC) and the boot upper insert (CIZB) if not in the carbon fiber codes indicated. Is it Lexan like the rear boot?

Is this confirmed, or informed speculation?

There is Zero info or confirmation about this being first wave in the US. Spoken to the GM about it directly. If they get any additional allocations it will be minimal as it is ferrari rerouting allocations from other dealers unable to fulfill orders. If those happen like it happened with pista it will be minimal like 1 or 2 allocations. If people are sitting around hoping that all of a sudden 10-20 allocations become available and dealer is able to fulfill all demand that is utter speculation and hope. What is known is that the allocations are similar to pista. What i mean by similar is that it has been adjusted increased by nominal amount to accommodate the increase in demand that happens naturally over a 6 year span based on growth of the company. It is negligible.

I also understand that ferrari has learned its lesson from the sf90. It will not be flooding the market.

Only time will tell what Ferrari actually does.

@KZEVO, I had been under the (loose) impression that there was a second wave with the Pista (small, but some new allocations, not just redistribution of unused allocations). Am I misinformed? I was not in the market at that point.

I was told there was no second wave with Pista allocations at my dealer. Again, speaking based on my understanding that is specific to my local dealer.

Wishing, hopes of receiving Spider vs Coupe - dealer just lowered my 296GTS offer by 30k in one month.
2024 500 miles 515k now dealer offer is 30k less in one month 385k - not sure they will over produce VS and be able to save face with customers / lease obligations. These cars have become too expensive for the second hand market to absorb, unless it's limited or last of the mold ... add tariffs they are on thin ice already. They are pumping out SUV's - same playbook every factory has used to save themselves. Porsche posted a 21B loss - things are changing,

Porsche is not losing money, even though their profits and margins are significantly down.
Official numbers are there for those interested in accurate information:

It's data as of end of June, but I doubt they managed to lose 21B in 1 month 1/2 (and they do not report monthly results).

Porsche have a "lame duck" the Taycan and can barely sustain 1 shift. They made a massive error in going for EV so hard and the new EV 718 platform imo will go the same way. The world has caught up and unless its bragging rights there are too many EV's to choose from. Porsche imo are in a tough spot

My dealers lot is full of P cars.
Ferrari late to the EV party, pumping SUV's - US tax laws went back to 100% write off - Ferrari knew it.
Ford lost 5B on EV division and incentives ends on EV so expect more problems.
Every exotic is / was moving to hybrid - Ferrari was early to the hybrid party.
Anyone who bought production Mclarens, repeat of "new tech" in exotics - not for the faint of heart.
296 is a great car - V6 hybrid regardless was a big gamble and we all know it can make F80 hp.

Yes, I decided piloti. I didn’t go for a Spider because our pista is a spider but our 458 Speciale is a coupe. Seemed good to match the two and the piloti livery adds a bit of rarity that I would have had with the spider.

I do love the Pista Spider, it’s a brilliant road trip car. I’ve used it once at Donington and it was fun. But a spider on track, with a slight lack of rigidity compared with the coupe, is probably not showing the model at its best.

I usually use GT3 RS on track but sometimes the 458 Speciale (such as my first outing at Spa last year). So I thought I would do a track spec modern Ferrari that I could use on the odd occasion. We’ll spec harnesses so I can use a HANS, which we didn’t on the Pista spider. Not sure about the colour though. We already have an XX Spider with Le Mans livery (which actually looks amazing). I wasn’t so keen on the piloti livery in red/yellow so think it’ll be TDF/yellow instead.

Is the HANS really usable with the "road" 4-point harness ?
