Respectfully, not my experience. The oil service is either milage or annual, which ever comes first. In my case on all my cars, the annual came first and all annual services were covered regardless of milage.

My annual service has always been covered. However, annual service does not always include oil changes. This has been my experience, which has been corroborated by others in this thread (@Thecadster was the first to mention it). It may differ by model and/or model year.

For reference I had my first oil change at 19,500km/10 months and asked the service person on his opinion for changing it more often.

he said since I drive a lot he recommends changing more often but that will be at my own expense.

They also said Ferrari paid for 7 years of service, not 7 services, so I’m covered if some years I need 2 services.

nope more I meant first service in Jan then the next one in Oct.

But the service is indeed unlimited mileage, so is the 4 year warranty we have in UK.

I’m close to hitting the mileage limit my dealership allows for accepting used cars :)

This! 100% correct, I don't get people who complain about the haptics, they must not be driving the car that much (in order to get used to it) and/or not know that almost every function the haptic provides has a physical corresponding button at the back of the wheel, I DD my F296 and it's so easy to use I love it.

You'd have to be mad to sell a F296 because few buttons annoy you, I don't buy it, this car is intoxicatelly addictive, I can't stop driving it and there are few other choices in my garage but I keep of going to the 296.

IMO- They just needed more time with it. Or they are too old or cannot adapt well to change. IMO. It’s actually not very complicated and well laid out in spite of the haptic issues.

I'm going to be the contrarian here and disagree with the above statements. Yes I am old, but that is no excuse for the haptics in the 296. It was a good idea, but the execution is a problem.

I've been in the automobile business for over 55 years, and the haptic controls in my 296 break just about every rule regarding user interface/controls. They are a distraction, and yes I've learned how to operate them in spite of my age.

I love my 296 and love driving it. The haptic controls on the other hand........
