I think Ferrari will figure out the hybrid, but the SF90 is another kettle of fish. 360 Spider or SF90 Spider? You have to live with only one of them forever. It's a coin flip, edge to the 360 if I have only seconds to decide.

If you buy a CPO SF90, do you also have to buy a separate warranty for the battery or is it included under the CPO warranty?

The original hybrid warranty is 8 years, so for the moment there is still ample time left even on the oldest years.

When I Google it, I get contradicting answers of 5, 7 and 8. Ferrari really needs to iron this stuff out if they don't want their hybrids to keep tanking in price.

This is the target price for my next car (being poor sucks) and yes, a $12k per year warranty is a non starter....I'm bitching about McLaren wanting $7k per year on a 720S.

i think some of you guys are very wrong.

here is what i think, about all car manufacturers, and Ferrari in particular .

almost all purely EV manufacture will end within 10 years, with the exception of Tesla (maybe Lucid).

concurrently, almost all manufacturers will make hybrids.
hybrids are the answer for meeting various emissions requirements where they still exist, filling in power gaps in the torque curve, making more power and everything that goes with that.
charging stations can continue to be built but gas stations are already here, so ice engines are here to stay (for a good long while), but hybrids allow them to meet power/performance goals.

so Ferrari will most likely NOT follow through on a full EV.
but Ferrari will most likely evolve most of the product line into hybrids. (btw, so will Porsche, Lambo, Mclaren, etc)

meaning, some kind of care and maintenance will be available for the SF90 down the road.....at a cost.

That's lower than I expected. F8 and 812 had 5k each I believe, yet there are less of them on the market in comparison to the sf90.

With the prices being as low as they are I’m thinking about trading my f8 in for an sf90 to experience the car since I just sold my revuelto.
But my challenge is figuring out the real cost of the car (how much you can get for it when you sell it).

For example I see some decent cars in the $455k range but missing a key option here or there but less than 1000 miles 2021 model. But then I see a very nice spec 2023 that has ALL of the key options on it for $485k. Also with less than 1000 miles.
I tend to think you will lose less on the cheaper car because it’s closer to whatever the bottom of the market is even though it’s a bit older and missing a couple of options.
Anyone have any experience or strong opinions on this?

I think you should buy the spec you want and not think so much about resale at this time. The prices are near bottom in my opinion and you may like the car and want to keep it.

The main question is, have you considered the 296? It'll be cheaper. Many on this forums who owned both prefer the 296 in terms of drivability and fun factor.

I prefer the design of the SF90 but the sound and fun factor of the 296 probably make it a more sensible choice.
