F355 Market

I remember checking out a GTB in that color 10 years ago. Stunning color on a 355. Ask was like $55k. Those were the days.

 

Does anyone have any insight on history of this F355 for sale in NY? It is my dream spec but has no service records so I'd be going in expecting to sort most everything that is known to be a concern. Wonder if anyone knows where it came from and has any suggestions on what to look for.

That car was worth every penny that it brought. It was an opportunity to buy a virtually brand new F355 Spider in 2025. I inspected the car and it was spectacular.

I bid on it, but didn't take it all the way. However, I did buy the 04 360 Modena from the same seller's collection.

I guess I need to get my 5900 miles Classiche GTS to Monterey next year!

 

I can’t believe that car didn’t meet reserve.

 

By the same token, I need to get my 4,800 mile 355 Challenge EVO a book and then market it. It appears people that have ignored the challenge stuff are waking up to the rarity and values are starting to reflect that.

 

Hard to say when RNM what bids are real or not. There are many F355 Challenges for sale in Europe right now for much less and that one doesn't have really any interior Challenge bits. Ad said F50 seats, which clearly is not. I asked if they had an OMP steering wheel, cage, fire extinguisher, and seat (1) and was given a list of a lot of other random parts and not addressing those in particular. It didn't make sense to me it was intentionally not raced to preserve it and now those parts are all somewhere else.

 

Does anyone know what the highest bid on this was at auction?
