    Hello!

I have a 2013 458 Spider. After uploading the MP3s to the Ferrari hard drive from the USB connected to the port in the glove box, the system doesn't show the songs to be played.

Interestingly, I *do* see the songs when I create a playlist - I can make a new playlist with the songs I uploaded, but subsequently when I try to play the playlist it doesn't show up.

I figure I'm either missing something simple and basic, or have some esoteric problem like the formatting/encoding of the MP3s.

The first time, I uploaded ~40 albums with ~12 songs each with the native MP3 encoding I had, which I believe had encoding at VBR ~300kbps. I had the above problem.

I then took all 40 albums, transcoded them with ffmpeg to be 192kbps with default encoding and had the same problem, after 45 min of transferring into the ferrari, they didn't show up for me to play.

I then took 2 songs and put them in single separate folders, imported them, with the same problem.

Can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong, and how I can play these MP3s, or how I can properly upload them so they can be played?

Out of memory, I think I remember reading about adding music to my 458 when I first got it. I think it needs some special file format, or a special way of grouping them, or something like that. I remember not bothering with it because it seemed like too much trouble at the time, so I just bought the Bovee adapter and played the music straight from the phone.
I'm pretty sure that I couldn't just send MP3's to it, because that would have been simple, and I would have done it.
Sorry for the vague answer, but my memory is failing me at the moment.

The flash drive the music is on has an odd format requirement but I can’t remember, I had to buy a very specific usb flash drive that was already to that format. I did it once, it worked and never did it again. Instructions will be either on YouTube or your manual.

This is how I listen to music. I needed to create a folder option, "Music," to put all the files in to get the 458 to recognize them.
