There definitely are some 24s in the low 300s, you are right. Just not the spec I want. There's one with 4,000 miles in Atlanta with AF for low 300s but I don't like the paint unfortunately.

To clarify, my use of "flatbed" is a generic term; yes, it would be enclosed carrier. Selling dealer is >1,000 miles away; I'm referring to getting it serviced by my "local" dealer; however, that will cost me ~$1,200 to transport the vehicle back and forth, or I double the "purchase" mileage on the 296, and have to have my wife make two round trips in her vehicle. So when you add up the cost of mileage (we don't own anything that isn't costly per mile in terms of depreciation), plus the 8+ person hours, plus the depreciation on the 296, it's not insignificant; hence, enclosed carrier @ $1,200 to get an oil change six months from now. Seems there's avoiding that...the cost of ownership.

Here you go @JMR007 . Probably the best deal on the market today, unless I missed something in the fine print that says it's a salvage title ;)
    59 Miles @ $325 "ask." Another at Miller is 182 miles @ $333 "ask."

It hadn't occurred to me that the fluid clock would start upon manufacturing...thanks @JTSE30
Clarification--warranty starts when vehicle is titled by the first owner, correct?

Warranty starts on date of sale to original owner (not when delivered or date of actual title being completed...)

Great price for a super High-spec car! Congrats! So to clarify, you paid $7,000 for a two-year extended warranty (they included), and the price wasn’t $13,000 for a two-year warranty? Pics?

Just wondering if you also looked at the 750s Mac? I’m about 60/40 leaning to the 296–will be test driving the 296 tomorrow on the track prior to deciding.

    it looks fast standing still!

so the 6.8 was 2-year extension of factory warranty including hybrid.

I had a Mac before (‘19 600LT) and while it was awesome I prefer the better built F cars. After driving the 296 I was sold, it’s a completely different car from my 488, it reminds me of the McL in terms of handling and the power.

  14. You know what's crazy?

They have a 2024 Roma Spider for 324k.

Who would've thunk that a Roma Spider would be in near price parity with a 2024 296 GTB.

Crazy, I think the market that hasn’t driven this car is totally underestimating it.

Looking at the mileage on alot of the cars for sale, that seems like a true statement.

I know has had two responses already, but yes, to a degree. I think there are a lot of reasons 296’s were sold. To enjoy them from a driving standpoint was lower than usual. A lot of flippers. A lot of buy this to get this. Etc. those are being flipped.

And then there’s the panic sell from people who just worry about things.

over time, that all sorts out. The car is awesome and it will stabilize (mostly has) and be ok.

I guess in writing this there’s one final thing. The 296 appeals to a less broad audience than historic mid engined Ferraris simply because of the tech heavy UI. I’ve said before that my dad could have driven my 458’s but he simply couldn’t drive this. His hands don’t work well enough for lack of physical buttons. I’m sure he’s not alone.

I truly can’t understand a willingness to lose $ 150,000++ selling this brilliant car and having driven less than 1000 miles. Makes no sense. Am I disappointed at the steep depreciation? FOR SURE! But I’d rather keep her, and drive and enjoy this amazing car. Too much paranoia about the tech IMHO.

I agree, I believe it was mostly flippers and/or new buyers who thought they could drive them for free like the cars before this model. Like the lemmings most people are, they list their cars for sale when everyone else does and then drive the market down further. Ferrari dealers sold these to anyone and everyone, many had no prior history.

I ended up taking a new GTS that someone walked away from ONLY to get a Piloti. I do not want this car, nor do I care for the spec but I have to hold it for ~6 months. I probably won't drive it more than 500 miles or so.
