The source for this info is the registry in Nathan’s book and the spreadsheet that @tazandjan has maintained.

    @6carbV12

To follow up the other thread where we kinda got into the weeds…

I thought I’d create a thread with a very focused title and use the info I had taken from Nathan’s book and then the spreadsheet Terry has maintained.

139106 HGTC Noted by Terry – I didn’t have it on my list because Nathan lists it as a Euro car. It is RC over Tan and the notes allege “Originally to Radicci Ferrari, Bari, Italy”

140529 HGTC MANUAL (I didn’t have this on my list as I was hunting conversion candidates)….I can’t imagine what this would sell for…..”All of it”.

    140875 HGTC titanio/black

    140877 HGTC black/black

140879 HGTC red/black exported to the UK had 2,917 miles in 2022

    140880 HGTC rosso/black

    140944 HGTC black/black

    140945 HGTC black/black

    140946 HGTC titanio/Bordeaux
    @Mellow_Maranello converted

    141120 HGTC rossa/tan w race seats

    141266 HGTC canna di fucile/black -- Assembly 58795 red calipers, shields, daytona's

141817 HGTC Cdf/cuoio (Terry noted this is actually CdF – listed incorrectly in Nathans book as Silverstone) SOLD last known on 6/12/22.

As Terry and others have correctly noted, Nathan's book and the registry isn't perfect or "all inclusive" but its a fun/great source nonetheless.

No affiliation other than I really like the book and enjoy the registry.

Fun. I wonder if any cars were both FHP and HGTC.
FWIW, I’m nearly done with my HGTC retrofit…..

    You never know?
I scanned the book quickly for all HGTC 575 non SA’s and didn’t see any notated HGTC & FHP…..it would be neat to see one Monroney for a fully loaded 575 HGTC car with all of it including the carbon racing seats….and while I’m dreaming can I have a brief bio on what those Titans of the World did for a living when they ordered those magnificent beasts!

Omar- Not possible to have FHP and HGTC at the same time, parts compete. HGTC 575Ms did not even have the FHP hydraulic steering ECU.

Right, that’s what I was trying to figure out is if they were mutually exclusive and if not, which parts would take ‘priority’

Dominick- HGTC, you get CCMs and a whole bunch of other stuff with HGTC. Good news is it looks like around 40% of Superamericas came with HGTC.

Yes those two documents are a great summary; I actually had used them to source nearly a complete OEM HGTC retrotfit kit (missing front rotors and OEM HGTC rear bar). A fair bit has gone NLA but with enough tenacity it can be sourced.

The question was more if you have both sets of parts, which would take priority? Sounds like Ferrari did not allow selecting both so we dont have the 'official' answer. That does allow for more art in implementation though.

The answer for some parts is obvious (ie the HGTC undertray/added ducting). Likewise I would assume FHP's steering controller while the HGTC would win on brakes. FHP wins the rear sway bar but the springs? Depends on the final balance your trying to strike. The conservative (more understeer) answer would be HGTC while the aggressive (more neutral handling) would likely be FHP.

On my 575 hgtc retrofit, I will likely keep FHP springs + swaybar + steering controller while swapping most everything else listed in the technical document above (despite having a set of NOS HGTC springs, etc).

FWIW one should be able to do a (partial) HGTC retrofit on a 456 as well. I entertained the idea but that platform has even more understeer than the 575 with (essentially no) sway bar options so elected for FHP springs over HGTC. For brakes, I am planning to use the NLA brembo upgrade kit currently installed on my 575 so hemorrhaging more $$ for the HGTC carbon brakes was ill advised

The maranello restomod advertises using uprated brembros. Now that we know brembro is making them for superleggera, maybe no longer nla

380mm version is available, pretty sure that is the size they use.

I just personally prefer the 355mm version as it fits under a wide range of wheels, make less brake torque on given an axle so less tendency to get unbalanced under very hard braking on imperfect road surfaces/easier to modulate.

No loss, will repurpose on the 456m.

    Hi

I've tried to look through all the records I could find but I can't see the one I'm collecting next week. It's a Feb 2005 car and from what I can tell possibly one of the last RHD cars that came to UK before the HGTC ones.

138075, assembly number 55659. Blu Tour de France, Crema interior. She's stunning but I'm biased :D

Assembly number and registration month seem loosely aligned. Mine was Nov 2004 and 56713.

Thanks for this - is it possibly due to ordering dates/specs and then delivery? It's just me being curious in respect to this btw

I expect there can be all sorts of reasons for variability in the duration from a car being driven off the production line to it being formally registered in the country of delivery.

Affirmative, no relationship between serial number or assembly number and registration date. On US models, there is a data plate showing month and year of production. Not on rest of world models. Have to get the date from Ferrari if they will give it out.

Comparing ANs from your Ferrari to a US model with similar AN would give you a rough estimate.
