I am going to a do a manual swap on my 360 the right way by replacing the throw out bearing. While in there it makes sense to do the clutch but mine was replaced a few thouasand miles ago and is at 28 percent worn. I still have 70 percent of the clutch left so I dont really want to spend 3k on a new clutch settup. Has anyone ever replaced just the disc? A disc is 500. Can a new disc make things worse somehow? I would resurface the flywheel still. So its pretty much either new disc or leave it completely. Thoughts?

70 percent based on a digital reading or has someone actually inspected it?

The disk is included with the pressure plate as an assembly so not really an option to do "only" the disc. At least that's what I see in the parts diagram.

I can't tell from your post if you have an electronically actuated hydraulic gear change system....F1, or a manual, three pedal, gated shifter car. In a gated shifter car aka manual gear box your clutch should last 30-45,000 miles for a regular use car with a skilled driver.

They replace the bearing on my 430 due to leakage, only 21% wear so they left it alone

    1. These are 100% aftermarket, likely from Alibaba. Nobody in Italy is making these - it's cost-prohibitive and makes ZERO business sense. I'm not being insulting, I'm being honest. I, personally, would not trust it. I've seen aftermarket clutches break apart.

    2. I have zero personal experience with manual swaps, other than hearing complaints from people who have had them done. But, the swap, to the best of my knowledge, involves primarily the actuator delete and it leaves the original F1-compatible clutch components. So the fact that this states "manual only," would be risky. The last thing you want to do is install it to have it not work properly.

I'd leave it as-is or swap the entire Valeo clutch pack.
