For those who got the gts and previously owned the gtb, could we get some reviews on the differences? Does the top down add a lot more thrill to the driving experience? How's the sound with the roof down? I feel like the gtb almost sounds quieter with the windows open. Doesn't add much overall when I have the windows down.

IMO, it's a really different experience. The GTB has a cocoon-like feel to it, which, in hindsight, makes it feel special and very sporty. The GTS has a different versatility to it that I enjoy. It's amazing what a difference those two extra buttons (rear window + roof) and the armrest does to the feel of using the car. It's hard to describe, but it's feels less 'race car' and feels more 'GT.' Performance is naturally all there, it just feels more fun/relaxed.

Getting mine soon - just got picked up by the auto shipper this morning 3000mi across the country from me. It is a 230mi used 2024 Blu America over Cuoio. :)

Had a 458, then an F8 Spider and for the last 4 years a 488 Pista. Sold the Pista to fund the 296 GTS (and then some) - I had my fun with that car, but its time to get back into a convertible and the Pista was just worth more to the market than it was to me.

Excited to sneak out of the neighborhood in stealth mode just as much as I am to hear this "piccolo V12" in action. Also kinda excited to not have the base sound system once again - its hot garbage. Made me very mildly annoyed every time I drove the Pista.

Will do - will probably be a week or two. It seems like a difficult color to shoot. Indoors or in shade the dealer photos made it look almost black. Only comes alive in the sunshine as far as I can tell. I'm excited to actually see it for the first time myself. Hope I didn't make a mistake there.

If you bought the one from miller motors you didn’t make a mistake. Saw in person. Gorgeous.

That's the one - Truck picked it up Tuesday and now I just pace around my house back and forth looking out the window for a truck to show up. :D Thanks for the reassurance on the aesthetics of it!

Got a call from my SA and the car is on the truck! The weird thing is that the car was 91 when I checked Wednesday, but he said the shipping invoice was dated a week earlier. So perhaps the status code update lags reality a bit? Anyhow, very excited!!!!

1,226 days since placing my deposit, and just a handful more left to go...

Delivered yesterday. Bought one that was abandoned new, not the spec I would have done but not terrible.

Haptics suck, interface pretty bad. Sometimes it works, sometimes unresponsive or slow. No Android Auto or at least it doesn't seem to work.

It drives great and with the top down it sounds pretty good. I am hoping the VS solves some of this.

Weather is great where I am so Im just gonna drive it for a few months amd them swap it for something else.

That obvious? :) There really isn't much out there that interests anymore. All of these cars are the same. I bought it in a 3 car trade and only to get the Piloti which I'll make my own. Hopefully that will be more exciting. If not, it will go as well.

I hear you. I can't really think of much to get me going either. I was interested in a 765lt and actually tried to cancel my 296gts order for it but I was nonrefundable at that point so I just stuck with it. I have gotten more excited about this car though. I hope it surprises you.

+1 last year I wanted a 765LT but I had already locked in with the binding contract back in 2023 to get an Atelier appointment. Then I was following Ford GTs. Also trying to psych myself up about the GTS.

I honestly don't know what to plan about it. I normally take the "bought it to drive it" approach and put as many miles as possible. Is it something I plan to keep and just drive the tires off of it from when I get it, or do I show it and gently parade a few times for 181 days? First world problems, for sure.

Haptics become responsive with use. At least that’s what I have found. Imperfect and not a deal breaker by any means considering the balance of the car. Soon you will be able to swap out the steering wheel for one with buttons.

IMO- With use, it gets easy and intuitive. And- still can be frustrating- not perfect.

For me the 765 wins but the 296 is more usable. Ive had my 765 since new, 5 years now and haven't thought about selling it.

$500k and no Android Auto how do you solve for that? The entertainment system is a miss. People can make all the excuses they want but its not good.

    How? Get an IPhone.

My upgraded stereo sounds great. I can tell Siri to do quite a bit with the apps without touching the interface, avoiding the haptic issue when operating the entertainment.

Personally, I buy Ferraris for the driving entertainment- anything else is a bonus- and I am more than satisfied.

Spoiler alert- no car is perfect. No excuses needed.
