    Hi all!

My exhaust manifolds have developed a crack/leak during my ~10.000 kilometer road trip through Europe this summer and would need replacing.

I know of Fiammenghi, and I see Supersprint has manifolds for the 456 GT.

    What other options are there?

    Will 550/575 exhaust/manifolds fit the 456?

I do not know if the 550/575 manifolds fit 456 (do not see why they wouldn't) but if you have the option to go with 550 tubular manifolds (shorty headers) vs. 575 3-1 manifolds, go 550. They make much better sound and substantially more power.

    Thanks
The 456 has the 3-1 manifolds. To be honest, I love the deep burble the engine makes.

What tubular system do you have in mind? Supersprint?

    Awesome.

From what I can see on Eurospares, the 550 and 456 has the same part number on the manifolds.

Did you remove the secondary air pump?

    - OEM take offs, Fiammenghi, Supersprint, or custom are the only choices.
    - Fiammenghi is a 6:1 with cats closer to engine/partially in engine bay
    - Supersprint is a 3:2 (Y pipe):1 with cats under the car
    - OEM is also similar 3:2(integrated cats):1
    - Custom would be whatever you contract to make.

Cheapest solution is just swap OEM 456 manifold. 575 manifold is garbage design and wont fit right anyway. A 550/456M manifold may have issues w the recirc tubes

Makes my 1,500 mile roadtrip round Spain this spring seem like a drive round the block. I bow to you.

I went to Spain as well! And Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Monaco, France, Andorra, Portugal, Belgium and Denmark I was a whole month on the road!

Now I have to sit down and consider my options with the exhaust... And other maintenance stuff which needs doing!

Thanks! I'll check around and see what possibilities I have with custom manifolds and pricing!

First thing to do would be fix whatever caused the cracks. That is not normal for the 550 or 456 so you have another problem down there.

I'm guessing loads of heat cycles. The car has almost 100.000 miles on the odometer.
