    A race of drivers epitomised:

    1. Max: giant stones to try it and incredible reflex and skill to catch that, just a Titan
    2. Lando: superb courageous pass on Max
    3. Albon: able to pull points of out his a.s
    4. lil lewee: excuses, whining and lost skills
    5. Chuck: monster, brilliant pass, terrible luck
    6. Lance: keeps stumbling into points like a drunk protected by God
    7. Officer georgie: pointing fingers
PS Albon or Chuck should be teammate to Max

I’m almost….but not quite…..beginning to pity him. Those who promoted and approved his hiring get no pity or sympathy…..or respect….from me. Where's the leadership?

Starting to question whether Ferrari will finish in top 3 in the WCC at this point....

I don't pity Hamilton one freakin bit. He's getting paid $100 million per year and he's laughing inside all-the-way to the bank. He's done.

Leadership at Ferrari for hiring Hamilton have a different mindset as far as winning goes. Newey should have been $100 million per year man from a long term perspective.

That and the constant LICO at tracks during the race, yeah, I can see the P2 WCC standings slipping away.

I think we should launch an initiative to restore the honor of the Scuderia. Since Hamilton was Elkann’s personal gamble, he ought to atone for his sins by submitting to a public session where he gets smacked with a cherry branch as many times as the embarrassments he’s made us suffer. Preferably with live commentary and popcorn included.

For me, pity ≠ sympathy. It’s more related to “pathetic.”

As for leadership, there's one big intangible missing on this team: Motivation. Hamilton needs a motivator. He’s never been self motivated. Ron and Toto are both supreme motivators and Sir owes everything he’s accomplished to them. I don’t see any motivational impulse coming from Vasseur. The whole team, with one exception….Charles…seems completely flat. Thankfully, Charles is a self motivator and seems to be the one most comitted to pushing the team forward, seemingly without much support from the bosses. He deserves a better team, sad to say…..

I would love for Newey to put something special together at Aston Martin and have them sign Leclerc. His talent has been squandered for too many seasons now.

I wouldn’t trust Stroll with Leclerc’s talent. I’m afraid he’d squander it, too. Right now I believe the only team principals who are doing the best job of handling drivers are Toto and Zak. The others are just managers, not leaders. And I think expectations of what Newey can do at AM are unrealistic. As long as Lance is around…..blood is still thicker than water.

That record is going to go a lot higher.

At this rate I would not be the least surprised if he doesn't get a single podium for the remainder of the year. They are so far of the pace the only way he can podium is by attrition/accidents of the top runners.

I'm often surprised how flimsy those F1 trophies are, these days. ;)

Like F1 itself, it's become style over substance.
