Doesn’t irritate me. People are allowed to have to have bad taste and make poor choices. Happens all the time.

You realize that they botched his pit stop. He would have ended around 15th. Not that it mattered. At least he brought the car home, more than can be said about Alonso who destroyed his suspension going over the curbs.
You think? The slow-mo showed how hard and long he went over the curbs. Maybe the suspension should be able to withstand that. OTOH it was him who went over them.
Alonso currently has 5 DNF's for the season. Stroll has........ummmm......(information not provided with regards to DNF's).
Stroll boy is rich. He gets to run around the world and screw supermodels. He gets people fawning over him. He gets to drive hypercars. He doesn't need to pay bills or make a living. Why should he quit? Would you? Just because he's an embarrassment to the other guys on the track? I'm thinking that's the lowest priority in Lance's brain.
Well, he did push one of his "employees" in the back of the garage after being a disappointment to the team for I believe not qualifying better.....so he must care to some degree of his performance on the track. Like I said earlier, Lance is an anomaly in F1 and the so-called F1 stats don't adhere to him. He's safe in his own seat.
You nailed it. He is living the dream. Good for him. What he is doing in F1, many other super rich guys (including old dudes) are doing in other classes of motorsports. He is unique in the sense that he is doing it in the top echelon of racing, but so be it.
True. Although he isn't the first "gentleman driver". There were many others before him but none of them had the money to last this long. Just look at some of the names in the fifties and sixties, heck even in the eighties (e.g. Foitek). That said, Lance probably has more talent than most of the ones from the early days of F1 since after all he had to qualify for a Super License. That requirement didn't exist back then.
Lance isn't a gentleman driver. He's the son of the owner of the family's F1 team which is a first in F1 AND as long as dad is around, so to will Lance Stroll be. Nice hobby these 2 have.
