My thoughts exactly.. going to let the dust settle, doesn’t even feel like a SF90 replacement, feels like a heavier F80 with a V8. Not sure I would be happy if I had an XX still to be delivered..

Shame they used such an iconic name "Testarossa" from such a beautiful car, on such an ugly modern car that carries no real likeness or design elements from the original.

First reaction - I really like it except the black stripe across the hood... they keep doubling down on that... don't like it on the 12C or the F80 either

The design of the gear shifter in the cockpit is really cool

Agree.. Testarossa name they should have used on the SP3 instead of Daytona... since it has the cheesegrater rear

Instead - the Daytona name should have been used instead of "12Cilindri"

Like they should have done F60 and F70 instead of Enzo and LaFerrari.... but I digress..... maybe I'm just not Italian enough to understand

SF90XX is limited, 849 Testarossa not and that’s the big difference. People nowadays buy cars that are rare. XX is 500-700 over msrp. And 849 looks stupid

Serious brakes on a Ferrari - it was about time ;)
410 mm front, 372 mm rear.
Another interesting feature is the relatively narrow rear tires (285).

This looks like the design brief was ‘throw everything at it and hope for the best.’ Over-styled, incoherent, like five interns each did a section in isolation and someone glued the pieces together at the end. Peak collage, zero elegance. A tragic reminder that Ferrari can no longer design a beautiful car to save their lives.

This contraption is less Ferrari, more Frankenstein.

Personally, I will not elaborate, but I am ashamed of what this brand has become...
Even the cars on the SEGA and Atari consoles had more style !

It seems to me they have taken elements of 512 BB, particularly the overall shape of the front and the engine lid cooling vents and then decided to call it a name that evokes nothing of the great 50s TR and certainly none of the style icon of the 80's. A very curious decision if one understands Ferrari history but perhaps that might be the point, create a new narrative around this famous name.

I do think it looks better in the normal studio pictures versus the normal for Ferrari not so good press pictures.

The big question this is almost a F80 for a lot less money and styling wise it has a lot of F80 elements, highly unusual to do that.

It really needed a V12 in my opinion.
