I don’t like the current generation of Ferrari design language and the 849 is the worst example yet. And mechanically this car hardly moves the game on from the SF90 despite the marketing garbage claiming this is something completely new. Depreciation will be cataclysmic.

Overall it’s a 4 out of 10 for me.

I have ordered a Spider. Love the look of the car in the flesh, not really liking the front bar treatment but the rest looks very good, the performance will be something else but we already know that with the SF90, exciting times ahead.

 

If only they deleted the vertical black band and the pinched area down behind the door was completely flush, the profile view might be half decent.

 

There were 5 cars there.
2 coups ,red and yellow.
2 AS coups, blue and silver.
1 spider, yellow.

They had all 3 seats as well. The new light weight racing seats were snug. Much more comfortable than I thought they would be.

When and why did Centro Stile completely give up on designing headlights? It's starting to feel like they take off the shelf headlights from their supplier and cover them with a black band. Rinse and repeat.

 

Too much Lego style, where is the elegance in new Ferraris? I love 296, Roma, Purosangue but 12C, F80 and 849 (IT IS NOT Testarossa!) are ugly

 

The current designs clearly show that the design team has run out of ideas. Their main approach seems to be recycling old elements from past models and making them look worse, with no originality. Sadly, as long as this mentality of minimum effort and maximum profit prevails at Ferrari, this trend will continue.

 

Wow, Ferrari’s F1 team is a mess and now they just churn out ugly designs with each one uglier than the last. Oh and a suv. They’ve completely lost the plot at this point.

without doubt it will set standards in those regards, but you just can't skip the looks and how it's sounds. Those two are are waking emotions so you want to test performance and the way it drives.
You first get attracted to the way the girl looks and her general behavior, just to find out that she is also inteligent and loyal so you wanna marry her. You get the point.
