My initial deposit was May of 2022 and it just arrived to the dealer. Im not sure im gonna take it just yet, I'm waiting to see what the deal looks like. There was a 27k tariff add and another 10k that I'm not sure of.
What did you decide to do? Mine is on the boat and I don't have the numbers yet but was told to expect a hefty tariff add.
Tariff added about $27K to the price. Also, the original price I was quoted was $393K for the base and was assured I would not be getting upcharged but that wasn't the case. The base price went to $423K as well. Mine essentially went up by ~$70K. I worked something out with the dealer and won't be keeping it but we are swapping for some other models. IMO, it's not worth $600K. You can buy them preowned at a discount with no miles if you look around.
I think this is the issue. On a 296 you'll probably except the increases. On the Puro and Almafi you might not.
Anyone get a recent allocation?? I’ve been waiting on one for 13 Months…. Not very enthused but being patient. No real updates from the dealer other than “I’ll inform you if a allocation opens up”
The US delays and now the 8.5% tariff mark-up made it less appealing to me. Just cancelled my order this week so hopefully that's an allocation that becomes available for someone more enthusiastic about it.
I’m in the US, put my down payment in 13 months ago. Was told to be patient by dealer and to expect a long wait. It’s been 13 months so far and no updates or any real communications. From what I can gauge I think I have another 11more months to go before I can expect a build allocation, but who knows.
No one is getting their puro delivered? Hard to believe. I know they're slow to come in but we have not seen any recent deliveries on this thread.
I Ordered a car in 8/2023 and was promised late 2026 delivery. I am terrible with waiting, and ended up taking one on the secondary market earlier this year. Dealer called me a few weeks ago to reiterate delivery late 2026 and to ask if I still wanted my ordered car and I told them no. Refund check for deposit on its way back to me. Ultimately the wait was waay to long and happy to pay a nominal finders fee to get a car now instead of waiting. Not sure what the issue is but having someone wait 4 years
My order was finally placed two years ago, but I started the process almost three years ago, guess my dealer needed to wait until a build spot opened up. They said the car is at the port, so I'm guessing soon. My base was 398,000, I will tell them I am not accepting a higher base, as I know I will get hit with about 25K of tariffs. Even with this my total cost will be 538,000 USD and most of the second hand cars are between 600,000 and 700,000 on the open market. Ferrari dealers in the US show only 28 cars for sale, so I am still in the black on price.
So you don't plan on taking delivery? How can you be in the black if you don't buy it. I am confused.
Love the car, a few niggles but nothing too serious. I have a 3 year old and this was a no brainer. Carseat fits perfectly in the back, we have taken long roadtrips and drive it every weekend. Really great investment in my pleasure. I wont speak of the dollars and cents etc because I bought it to drive and enjoy- depreciation be damned!
Interesting data at Classic.com on the Ferrari Purosangue resale market. For Sale 18 Avg $501,314 Sales Count 5 Dollar Volume $2.5m Lowest Sale $427,450 Top Sale $690,000 Most Recent $480,000 Since the report contains only 5 sales it is not representative of the real market. But as with other models, there is a big difference from actual sales prices to current ask prices. What can be causing the wide difference between dealer ask prices and actual market sale prices of used Purosangue models? I understand the 20% to 25% down from MSRP on the 296, but the Purosangue market prices baffle me. https://www.classic.com/m/ferrari/purosangue/
I got a recent allocation. I asked for it now because I am told it will be a 2 1/2 year wait. By the time I get the new Purosangue, the one that I ordered just over 3 years ago, which I took delivery of 6 months ago, will have 30,000+ miles on it and I will trade it in on the new one. I also own a 812 GTS which is an amazing Ferrari, but the Purosangue has become my favorite, in spite of the stupid haptic 'switches'. Hopefully the new one when it arrives maybe in April 2028 will have all real switches.
Can you confirm if you had to put down a down payment?? Sounds like you’ve put in an order for a Purosangue and your waiting for a “Build Allocation”
