Nah, Cavallino Motorsport. It’s too hard a job to attempt on my own, need a hoist and the transmission had to come out as I’m getting the clutch replaced too. It can be done without removing the transmission but it means leaving all the F1 bits in place and running the clutch on F1 hydraulic fluid. What I’ve elected to do is go the extra mile and make it OEM. The F1 parts will all be packaged up. The ECUs will be reprogrammed using Fchat Trev360s software for different and better throttle response (the F1 cars are set up differently from factory as compared to the manual cars). The only thing I’m really stressing about is getting the trim around the gear stick console right. Can’t use the original set up as the position of the gear gate is centred not offset. The guys have converted 3 other 575s and they look perfect so should be fine
Lemme know what it costs all up in the end please and make sure you pay with cash too like a good malaka.
Ok, thanks Greg. Look forward to seeing it all finished. I'd like to do mine but in the middle of a kitchen reno and I have a few other home maintenance items to be done. I couldn't afford to do it as a single man The 360 conversion doesn't have the issue with the console but no one seems to mention anything about the steering column covers when the paddles are removed. I've spoken to one of 360 Trevs guys, Sam in San Francisco. He has been helping me diagnose my CEL, and actually FaceTimed me on a Sunday and went step by step with me using an OBD to find the code. Absolute legend!! I enquired about their throttle response flash as many on the 360 forum say it makes quite a difference to the torque curve and throttle response. Sam says they need to make sure there are no underlying problems prior to the procedure. My code appears to be a fuel system issue, possibly fuel cap related. I've re-seated it a few times and put some vaseline around the seal, cleared the code and will see if it reappears
