I dunno how they even call this a sport anymore………another boring race!
What a snoozefest. Was glad I only recorded the "race" and was able to fast forward once the first lap was in. The Sky droids are unbearable to listen to: The entire race nothing but one giant fan fest for Lando. OTOH it was a pleasure to hear the desperation in their voices as he couldn't get past 7th position. Soso day for the tifosi. But I'm super happy for Sainz. That must have been nice redemption. Hopefully Williams can do more races like this. PS: I was surprised that McLaren was willing to do a seat and helmet swap with Aston Martin: Stroll made a terrible start and then promptly put it into the wall. As usual.
Yet another humiliating effort as expected. At this point I honestly don’t care anymore. They deserve to be beaten into the ground and laughed at. Hopefully this motivates them to make some major changes asap starting with Useless. However given Ferrrari’s arrogance in all things I doubt they’ll learn. Carlos got a podium in a Williams before our 100 million dollar flop. Imagine that!
It’s nice to see Carlos spank Ferrari. It looks like starting on mediums was not the right call. Charles’s choice or the brains’? Norris screwed by this “teammate” (pit crew member, thus the “”) again. Max is in a different league and it feels like Red Bull is fully back.
Knowing this.......... the streak is still alive! LEC has dominated LH44 in every single race this season
How the hell they will be able to create a winning car next year with such people ? Newey must be secretly laughing right now ..
You got problems It's the best English language commentary, particularly with Brundle, irrespective of the occasional bias.
Huh? We have all been saying since they first made the signing announcement that Charles would out perform him. I don't think it comes as a surprise to anyone on this board. I think the only person on Earth who might be surprised Lewis isn't doing well is Elkhan.
He misjudged the finish line. You know, the same one he’d just crossed 50 times…. Image Unavailable, Please Login
To be fair to Piastri apparently yesterday was the first time in his racing career (!!) that he had an at fault accident resulting in damaging the car. But yes repeated it a day later is not fantastic.
I'm still totally puzzled by Piastri: 3 rookie mistakes within 24 hours (qualifying, bodged start, crash). The guy is rock solid race after race and then he does this? I hope he'll get over this quickly and find back to his previous self.
Does make you wonder. Ferrari is just a completely disorganized SWAMP. It's full of talented people but despite his Frenchness, I don't see any evidence of Vasseur being Todt. so many people ex Ferrari who we so sure to be happy to get rid off excelled at other places. From drivers to engineers so team managers...the lot. Look at Mekies who we thought was totally incompetent at Ferrari. He's been at the helm of Red Bull for about 5 minutes and the team is back in contention. Andrea Stella. Hell even Binotto. The list goes on and on and on.
Bas, i really don’t understand what’s going on with this team .. I have no words. Guess Vasseur has no real influence on it ( optimistic view).
Ummm, same thing for the past 17+ years. How many team principals? How many WDC title holders since Kimi? And currently, they are the only team outside the U.K.
Disagree. He never stopped talking about Lando, Russel and Hamilton either. This blatant pro UK drivers is so annoying. There's literally a world of TV watchers out there who don't give a rats ass about UK drivers. Or at least not more than any other drivers. Plus he is overly dramatic in his expressions. This was a lame race and his description sounds more like there is no stop excitement on the track when in reality there isn't.
