Went to San Diego Ferrari's Cars and Planes this morning, great event. I'm the 458 screen left, just missed airport hangar space. As expected, my niece was more excited about the Kei truck with Montana plates than anything else we saw. Went to a Miata Club drive after (she is the white NA).

Fred, I’ve always wondered about the Swedish reaction to your car. I have picked up some Euro associates that bristle at these a bit. Others are enthusiasts, in Sweden, what is the general attitude?

Of course, yours is very beautiful

    Hey!

Its a bit mixed emotions depending, taking it to Autoropa (Swedish ferrari distributor) they pretty much say ive destroyed the car and they really dont like it. (Although the mechanics do like it but don't say that out loud:) But i honestly could not care less.

Visiting events it draws tons of attention and i haven't heard anything negative so i hope other like it. All mods are reversible to stock so I don't feel I have destroyed anything.

When visiting events myself, i have nothing against oem Ferraris or other similar brands but I find myself a bit bored and not stop and look the same way when I see someone who have done tasteful mods to it.

I like to believe people in general appreciate what I've done and its not like I've made the car unrecognisable from what it is:)

Awesome run today in a private invite event. Except, no one told me it was a rally so I showed up by myself with no navigator lol. 2 cars had issues early, which split the field up. Then a mx5, 911T (with a navigator) and myself ended up heading off together to figure out the route. 911 bottomed out HARD on a creek and I went full airborne over a crossing at 1xx kph, but we made it to lunch only 16 mins late.

Sorry about the crap phone ai edited pics to hide faces/plates but I'm still on the road. Another club event tomorrow with a few hundred km, to stress test the car more for the nationals next month.

Car is on pzeros atm. I have been thinking about tyre options for a while but, I want to run a single set the whole event and these are fun, if slow, on the track and decent in the wet which is still likely this time of year.
