    Superb driver and gent. Lacking in the hype 'entertainment' F1 era currently is a driver of this caliber and temperament. Unique and intelligent, eloquent.

    Discreet, and modest, Mika Hakkinen was soon forgotten by the public at large.
    A fast and intelligent driver who knew when it was time to retire.
    I wish there was more racers like Hakkinen on the grid these days.
