There are dozens of small wiring diagrams in the OEM manual. What is broken?

Are you looking for the complete cables or trying to find faults- there are a lot of different diagrams

So you want to know everything that goes through the two 40 pin plugs just in front of the firewall. aka. XL41 and XR41... or you want to know everything which goes through the firewall?

It would take weeks for Mike to find all the diagrams for those. I tried to create a pinout for one of those and gave up. There were just too many mistakes in the original Ferrari diagrams.

I found that one alongside many others.
I still have not got my window switches sorted out, still on all the time. You have a more up to date solution

Not really. The diagrams don't match the car. The diagrams show the lights powered by the Window Control Unit, but aren't the switches illuminated by the 2 pin plug on the HVAC panel?

What happens when you turn off the radio?

The HVAC panel gets two sources of power. Light power from fuse AF5 /relay AR11 in the frunk and key power from fuse PSF13. Neither of those should be providing power with the key off.

It doesn't look like the HVAC ECU provides any 12v power to the control panel. But since some of the knobs on the panel are just resistive circuits, the HVAC ECU has to send current through those.

Sorry, senior moment... I got my Radio Panel and HVAC panel mixed up. I don't think hitting the HVAC STOP button will turn off the lights, but give it a try anyway. Also try your Recirc Switch.

Is your HVAC system working normally? Also, are the panel background lights working?

    Sorry for the thread hijack.

Thing is. I’ve got 06 coupe with fuel pump fire damage. All the wiring at the engine bay was damaged. I have sourced harness from 05 US spec spider. Unfortunately there are differences and wiring diagram would help, so I could modify and make it work for my car.
    I need to compare:
CONNECTION CABLES FOR LH - 226482 and 218248
    CONNECTION CABLES FOR RH -
    223682 and 202973
RH SIDE INJECTION CONNECTION - 215268 and 209438
LH SIDE INJECTION CONNECTION - 215269 and 209437

The 430 wiring diagrams available to us are not really in a format which would be helpful for this kind of thing.

Even the somewhat more user-friendly diagrams I've spent hundreds of hours creating won’t show you wire lengths and the location of splices. And their accuracy is not guaranteed. I created diagrams for certain versions of the F355 based on OEM diagrams and even after 10 years of constant practical use still found that the diagrams were not 100%. Apart from the mistakes I made, the OEM Ferrari diagrams were riddled with errors and unexplained wire colour variations between cars. One Ferrari diagram even showed a different wire colour code at opposite ends of the same wire (with no splices inbetween).
Ferrari obviously have interactive diagrams and harness details, but these are under lock and key, but having said that, they still manage to produce faulty new wiring harnesses. Welcome to Ferrari ownership.

@mike32 has standard F430 diagrams, but I haven’t noticed any car applicability notes on them. I don’t know if they are for the late model cars or if they include Spider wiring. I know there are quite a few differences between the 360 Modena and the 360 Spider, but not engine-wise. Most of the engine differences seem to be related to model year.

And I am a looooong way off producing user-friendly diagrams for the F430 engine. With Mike’s help, I started adding details to an instrument diagram which included some engine stuff. I missed an inline plug for an engine component and, for various reasons, including lack of space on the diagram, it took me 6 hours to add that inline plug. Just be aware that those who have the diagrams have invested either hundreds, if not thousands of dollars .... or hours... in these diagrams. We are not obliged to give them away holus bolus. Yes, we get satisfaction sharing our knowledge, but it is an effort vs satisfaction thing. We could spend hundreds of hours trying to resolve your wiring harness issues.

Even if you have the applicable set of wiring diagrams, there is a steep learning curve to understanding them. e.g. Mike’s diagrams won’t always tell you which side of the plug the wires go to. Dominick’s Scud diagrams do, but sometimes Ferrari mis-labels the male/female side

The Scud and F340 diagrams also show the same plug in different places on the same diagram. e.g.

Everywhere you see a dot where 2 or more lines join up, there is a splice, but that splice may be joined up to other wiring on a different diagram. Unlike 360 diagrams, the splices are not identified or how many wires are attached to those splices.
You may also note the M005 and $102 identifiers on the RH Motronic ECU in the graphic. Unlike the Scud, the RH and LH ECUs both use the "M005" identifier. It's the $102 that identifies it as the RH ECU.

There are a lot of similarities between the Scud and the regular F430. I could, for example, provide a link to my Scud Instrument diagram, but it won't match up with any diagrams Mike provides because different plug numbers are used in the regular F430. I'm adding the equivalent F430 numbers to my Scud diagrams, but it will be a slow process.

I'm not really sure of your goal here. Are you intending repairing the wiring with splices .... or recreating brand new harnesses?

You mentioned tail lights.... USA, Canadian, UK (RHD) or Euro car?

So you're trying to compare, in this case, a non-USA/Canada pre-assy number #69639 car with a US car (RH engine harness). So, in this case, it's before some engine changes were made. Do you know if your car has a secondary air injection system? We think it's only on the Scud, but it will be best to make sure.

What is not clear from any of the diagrams is how many harnesses feed into the firewall grommet (on the cabin side) and how many come out on the engine side. There may be smaller harnesses/connectors feeding into larger harnesses on the cabin side.

On the Scud, I see 5 smaller plugs on the RH engine harness feeding into the largest engine harness (engine side), but only 2 on the standard F430. That should simplify things somewhat. But it's clear I'd have to create completely different diagrams for the Scud and standard F430.

@mike32 I see a plug labelled J011 in your diagrams which is a USA-only feature (I think) called a "Motor driven throttle emergency switch". Do you have any idea what this is?

None of cars had secondary air pump. All plugs seem to be the same, only some wires are different. Layout and length of harness look to be the same. Differences, I noticed so far:
    1. US car has additional Bosch resistors on both sides.
    2. Coupe needs extra wires for rear window heating.
    3. US car has extra pump at evap system
    4. And of course rear fog and reverse lights switched.

So which car do you have? UK? Euro? USA?

Do you mean fuel pump resistors? How do you get different pump speeds without the resistors?

I have LHD JDM car. So steering wheel is on a left side, but rear foglight should be switched with reverse light.

Workshop manual calls them fuel pump protection resistors. It’s not direct fuel injection system, so I believe you don’t need variable fuel pressure.
