    Giallo Monte Carlo is stunning. My wife and kids lobbied me quite heavily to go for a red (Imola) car in the end instead of the Giallo .

    My 599GTB was Bianco Avus and I loved that color. I totally get why your wife prefers it over Cervino. For the 12Cilindri I think Bianco Artico is the way to go. It suits the futuristic lines of the car.

    I love red on it too. Rosso Imola is a great color.

    You know ... you are right but at the same time this is my first red F-car ever. I had white, grey, black ... never red :)
    So I thought I should just go ahead and give it a shot ... Also, at least based on the photos I see on this forum, for the 12Cilindri ... Red is not as common as it once was. I see a lot more diversity than usual

    Try the G63 squared - stupidest car ever but that's what makes it fun.
    12Ci colors - considering older Dino / Daytona yellows and reds.

    I keep opening this thread up hoping to see my 12C. It just went Stage 85 so it’s at the port in Italy. If Derek were to have captured it photo, it would have to happened before it went to port. I’m getting pretty anxious/excited.

    That paint color was originally called Bronzo Cauley named for the Michigan USA Ferrari dealership. As with other 'name' custom paint colors the 'Cauley' part has been dropped from the paint name lately.

    That orange was described as likely 'Arancio Triplo Strato' by the photographer. Is that the paint name you chose?

    Yes the only Rosso 1000 GP to appear was on an 812 Competizione series. So Derek is familiar with that paint color. The closest appears to be Rosso Mugello which appears rather flat in comparison. Must have snuck your 12 Cilindri past on a 'dark and stormy night' previously...

    Yes…that Comp was my inspiration. I even went with a full alcantara interior complete with checkered material on racing seats. Poor man’s 12C Comp.

    It truly is a parade. Thank you for posting the pics. Your posts are one the main reasons why I refresh this thread on a daily basis.
    I made the observation that the 12Cilindri has inspired people to go for a much wider range of colors than other cars in the past.
    It was one of the reasons why I decided to go for a red car this time around as it doesn't feel like every other car is red.

    There was an 812 painted Arancio Vaguely though it doesn't appear to be metallic. I have not seen any other orange 12 Cilindri models so far beyond the picture Derek provided.
    There was an article by Marcel Massini about Ferrari naming 1960's paint colors after famous race horses. Arancio Vaguely Noble could be one example of that name theme.
