    I had that happen once. I think I just turned off the car - completely so the iphone truly disconnected its wifi connection. Then upon starting again, all worked as usual. I’m not sure if I accidentally did something or not to create the problem.

    Just restart car and phone. This also happened to me once and then just reappeared before I could figure out anything specifically. A new iPhone or software update might also cause this temporarily.

    Ok thanks this worked. However car play took up the entire screen. then i exited out of it and it completely disappeared.

    Congrats to all you guys, including Ryalex, and the original OP. Gorgeous specs. That Red Tan combination and the options are just beautiful. Ryan your car is outstanding. I know you waited a long time, but it looks to me as it was worth the wait!

    That’s what it does. The menu on the right side is required to navigate. Voice activation is easier. Once you get acclimated it gets easier.

    I fiddled around with that quite a bit. I can’t describe now, but there is a way for whatever app is active in CarPlay to put it in one of the left windows or the larger right window. Have been away from the car for a week or so, and can’t remember the exact sequence…

    oh man if you can recall that let me know. the manual does not say much at all. I had it working once but now its either apple car play on whole screen or not at all.
