2020 Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder! After driving the Huracan Evo once and experiencing the V10 NA sound along with the in-your-face exotic looks and better tech (hooray apple carplay!) I immediately traded in the 488. I've driven the 488 and the Huracan Evo way over legal speeds and both accelerate like rocketships and are absolutely planted. They both also handle turns amazingly. I loved the 488 but the Huracan Evo is just a way more exciting and visceral driving experience for basically the same price.

I also own a 992.1 Carrera 4s as my daily driver (GREAT and fast car - but not that exciting) and of course I had to have a Ferrari so I bought a 1997 355 spider with a gated manual. The 355 gives me a totally different but just as fun experience as the Huracan Evo. Sounds like an F1 car, gated shifter is heavenly, handles amazing on the turns. Not that fast but feels fast even at street legal speeds.

Overall I'm very happy with my $500K garage.

Yeah Huracan accelerates faster than its power numbers on paper suggest. Nice fun car...enjoy!

Congrats, does that V10 feel heavier in the back compared to the V8 turbo of the 488?

The AWD Huracan Evo is faster off the line than the 488 but the 488 will pull harder over 100 mph. Both will hit 200 mph in similar times. The NA feel is definitely different than the Turbo, and sounds oh so much better.

The Huracan is next level. Love the Lambos…. Just not as much as the 488 :)

Yeah the turbos pull harder at higher speeds but both cars have similar times to 150 mph. I do have a 992 carrera 4s (twin turbo) with a capristo exhuast and race cats that gives me the mid range pull feel. Very fast car for 470 hp.

How much was the 355? Any major issues that needed correcting or corrected already? I've been thinking of adding an older manual Ferrari as well. Thanks.

Absolutely love the 355. You’d be hard pressed to find a better overall driving experience. I honestly can’t believe it’s a 30 year old car. The f1 type sound is intoxicating. The handling is on par with modern supercars. Gated manual is heavenly. Smooth ride. It’s just not fast in a straight line but it’s hard to explain because it feels fast.

Got mine for around $100k but they are going for more now. 36k miles. I’ve driven it 2500 spirited miles. Original paint looks great. Only issue was I had to replace a hose that was warn out and new tires. I am concerned about engine out service as my mechanic says it will cost $30k when all said and done. But he says I can wait 5-7 years (it’s been 3 since the last one).

That sounds like a great experience! But yeah $30K engine out service doesn't sound too appetizing haha. I guess I'll just stick with my 488 and 911 turbo.
