Trade an 812 GTS or Pista for 296 Speciale?

Having started some of this mess and having the coupes of both I am 8:1 4RS vs 296 but it was enough to order a new one to replace the used one. For me the diversity is more about twitchy agility and speed which it does better than my other stuff than looks inside or out though.

Speed, sound, and transmission kick will probably get even better with the Speciale and I'm hoping steering feel will as well.

I'd say any pretty standard 296 color, not modified to be a Sterrato 296 or something. Or I can supply red or black 296 if you'd rather fly.

M5 Touring is in the Pacific Northwest this fall. Suggest gas station in Bellevue or Beaverton. Have seen the phenomenon at car shows but they're mostly done for the year.

 

I get what you are saying and agree for the most part but the SRS is in another league, especially with the exhaust I added. It just makes me smile the entire time I am in it. The only other car that does this is my 765. I am hoping the Speciale does this as well.

 

I own a 991.2 Speedster. It’s great and I upgraded to a titanium Dundon exhaust. It’s very nice and also has the Heritage package. I asked my Porsche dealer if I should get an SRS and he said no- keep the Speedster. Regardless- the 296 GTS is more exciting and more of an event- for me, and it’s not close.
