One of my forged matte finished rims curbed and my eyes can't stand looking at it. Are they repairable? Wouldn't mind a DYI solution, either.

Should be repairable. My wife got into a fight with a curb in her Portofino M. Local Ferrari dealer fixed the rim for $250, replacement tire was $500.

Black is easy to repair yourself get something like a dremel to sand it down then a little filler sand that back take your time ,black touch up paint and keep flatting that back with fine grit sand paper until your happy the fine grit then will give you the Matt look . It won’t be perfect but I doult anyone else would notice . I’ve used this method a few times on black wheels and happy with the results .this is how them wheel touch up guys would work
Or for around £90 get it powder coated . Dimond cut different as you can only do them once then you’re going have to either get a new one o powder coated them
