Agree'd. Ive kept a movie on as well. This is not good racing at all. I dont really care about the Max storyline either. The series should be happy to move on from this set of rules. Significant passing or racing is not what is happening at all. Its pacing.

Paistri is not driving like a championship leader

You’re missing the point. Verstappen has maximized his points all season long and is coming from behind with a car that is finally better than the rest. Piastri’s and Norris’s first halves of the season have been “fairly well” as you put it and time will tell whether doing “fairly well” is good enough. I have a feeling it won’t be.

Thats already obvious about Mclaren. The key is development. RedBull clearly reversed the curb riding issues etc that the car had and its balance issues. Max as a good driver is not in doubt.

I think Charlie did as well as he could. Interesting line into the first corner really paid off.

What was frustrating is for 20+ laps Leclerc was holding back Lando and Hamilton couldn't advance one bit. If only he was on Lando's tail the entire time, it might have forced Norris into an error. But we will never know....

Well the race has "cruises" in the title, so we shouldn't be surprised if everybody just cruised home to the finish line.

Nice to see Chuck take another podium, he made Lando look like a potatoo, but he was much much fster, still a good run, and Elton is also making progress....

Leclerc's failure to fight back after Norris' last pass was a perfect example of giving up. After that, I no longer felt Charles deserved "driver of the day." And all the upgrades to the RB front wing for the last couple of races shows how week the Ferrari team and leadership is. The motto of the team should be "we only pick the low hanging fruit."

Give it a rest, Norris was driving a car that in clean air was probably faster than the Red Bull. Leclerc was deservedly driver of the day, a more competent driver than Lando should have passed the Ferrari in the first 10 laps of the race

At that point, Leclerc didn't have any tyre left to defend his position, and certainly not to fight back to retake it.

He gave up. Never even used his DRS and full battery charge to immediately fight to repass. And while Norris was letting his tires cool, Charles didn't push to give himself more distance for when he knew Norris would reattack. Ferrari has completed the perfect trifecta for losing...a lazy team and two past their prime drivers.

Max thanks Chuck for the help, it would have been tight otherwise; except to your point: baby lando just ain't that good, he failed the IQ test with Chuck, and Max has an even better skill set.... if we subtract all the girl's rules points McC took from Oscar to give to lando, it would be even more obvious.

Chuck drove it all the way. Keeping lando behind for 50 laps or whatever took skill.

Lando vs. Charles made it interesting. I liked that Ferrari tried a different strategy. I think LeClerc deserved DOD. The car is not good.
