Just got done swapping out the incredible piece of crap that was the Evil Energy pump for a Bosch pump.

Got everything connected and I'm getting a small leak from the damn main fuel line that attaches to the accumulator.

NOT the part with the crossover pipe, which is what I have had issues in the past with.

No this is just a straight line fitting and it's leaking.

I noticed on the threads there appeared to be some kind of white residue. I'm guessing that was sealant but I'm not 100 percent which is why I'm posting here.

If it is indeed fine to put sealant on the threads, which do you guys recommend?

I was going to go with the "3 bond 1211" sealant.

But figured I'd ask here first

The white paste was probably Loctite 567, an anerobic sealant with teflon that is resistant to gasoline.

I always pack the nipple screw base with grease for bleeding as I always get bubbles unless.
After tight, wipe then brake clean

High pressure fuel lines and brake bleeders do not seal on the threads nor should you try and make them seal on the threads.
The fitting should be fixed and or replaced so they work as designed unless you like fires and loss of brakes.

Few sealants are fuel proof and 3 Bond 1211 silicone is certainly not one of them.

    Please fix it correctly.

Yep that's what I'm doing. Got a new line and accumulator on the way.

I initially tried to lightly sand the line that goes into the accumulator, but it still leaked. So... waiting on parts. Wouldn't it be nice if you could get 308 parts at O'Reilly's :)
