Build a car like this with a V8 American engine costs 170-200.000€ ............California SWB is 7-8MIL € , LWB is 9-11 Mil €

Out of interest, what statement have Ferrari Classiche made regarding the headlights on 1915 GT?

Ferrari Classiche simply certified the car with covered headlights. They would not have it certified if it had been converted from open to covered headlights (only if done by Ferrari itself in period but such is not recorded).

In the past a period picture showing a dark painted Cal Spyder with open headlights was misinterpreted as 1915GT by a certain Ferrari historian. In fact, this picture shows 1883GT instead.

    Best regards

Interesting. Are you sure 1915GT here is not being confused with 1951GT?

    Thank you.

I see the Barchetta web site entry for 250 GT SWB California Spyder 1915 GT was updated only yesterday from this:

You can forget the earlier question of mine.

Looking through my files I noticed that a dark blue open headlight Cal Spider was shown in Rimini Concours on 7/aug/60. This has indeed been mis-identified to have been 1915GT, but it clearly was 1883GT also confirmed on build sheets.

Mario Camellini was sometimes involved in these showings taking cars back and forth to Rimini, which likely explains the removed note on Barchetta.
