Are there two suspensions? I haven’t seen anything on that. Will they both include bumpy Road mode?

XX improved non af suspension to equal multi matic, lift was no charge and bumpy road button. They pushed at Atelier and TM non af - esp with longer front nose it made sense.
I think XX non multi - matic was used on track setting times, it's the faster set up.
If you drive these they will bottom out, my GT3RS has a nice memory feature - every time you engage lift it asks to "remember" location - making life easy.

As far as I can tell, only if you option lift you’ll get bumpy road.

No lift = single rate multimatic = no bumpy road
Lift = magnaride = bumpy road

I think only f80 and puro have multimatic with lift. (849 asseto has lift now but it changes to multimatic)

From the 296 Speciale order guide :

“The lift system introduces the Magneride which, compared to the standard Multimatic, allows to raise the vehicle's front ground clearance by a maximum of 40 mm, thus allowing it to more easily handle bumps and ramps. The system deactivates automatically at speeds in excess of 35 Km/h. Choosing this optional makes the installation of the adaptive headlights system obligatory (Code AFS1 / AFSU)”

From the front, it's almost more beautiful than a 458 Speciale. I think that in two years, people will love the 296 Speciale and consider it a collector's item. However, a standard 296 will not gain popularity because the car lacks that certain something and is simply too round in shape. Many people who saw a 296 at the beginning thought it was just a McLaren.

The view regarding the 296 design perhaps depends on the age and experience of the Ferrari observer. Someone not spoiled by the raw experience of the 458 Speciale may have a different perspective for the 296 and what the car can offer. As for popularity of the 296 as prices drop new buyers will embrace the Ferrari experience.

The front of the 296 Speciale is reminiscent of the good old days of Ferrari design with the 458 Speciale or Pista. That was my argument, many new Ferrari customers complain bitterly about the Testarossa design.

VS reminds me of my Dino, going to spec elegant, since it's not a track car :)

How ridiculous IMO that idiot who had a custom build from Ferrari and put the V6 and hybrid on it. WTF. Total lunatic IMO given he could have had any engine that was still in production.

Certainly better that the regular 296 front as the 458 Specially front is way better than the 458 Italia. Nostrils look way better than the curved front bumper. Another pet hate why i didnt change to the F8 from the 488GTB

Ferrari F8 only looks good from the back, but F8 had the worst exhaust sound of any Ferrari since 2015.

How do you know it's not the F80 V6 - anyway he's hardly an idiot.
Eric Clapton was denied a V12 after a long battle - used 458 base and engine to build his custom actually very common but for a few built a long time ago.
What's wrong with V6 - the Dino engine was modified and used in F1 - the 296 F80 VS 499P engine is hardly a WTF.

I’m not certain of many things in life, but I am certain the man who was allowed to commission a one off Ferrari is an idiot.

I'd take the V6 over the current V8 any day.

Why couldn’t you do a one off based on the SP3 chassis? With the V12?

As a special individual to get a car specifically made for you by Ferrari , I would rather the sound and heritage of the V12.

Same SP3 would be the first option in a SP3 and F80 race. Actually wouldn't even consider the F80 its ugly

Obviously he was able to get past any bias and choose the best performing engine.
