Just got this scrolling string of errors on my 488. Still driving fine, disappears for a while but then comes back. I've got the Power15 warranty, anyone know if this is covered? Just had 8th year full service done at the dealer including changing out the spark plugs. Anyone know what causes this?

    E-Diff recovery error

    Manettino failure

    Suspension control system failure

AVH (Auto Vehicle Hold) system failure

ESC (Electronic Stability Control) system failure

    F1 TRAC (Traction Control) failure

If you did not check it, it's worth suspecting the battery. If it's weak, it's able to trigger lots of random warnings.

I'm going to take a wild guess. The ABS module has failed.

Just hooked it up to a battery tester/tenderer and it's not showing bad battery. Charging it up anyways but battery isn't bad.

How the heck do I ascertain if this is the problem? Moreover is it covered by Power15? I just bought it last month and had the dealer conduct a PIP before I bought it. Passed everything they checked for.

Could also be a brake switch. I'm just taking guesses here. I don't think its a huge problem, unless you have an undisclosed flood car. There are some cars out there that aren't disclosed as flood cars but 99% most likely something like a switch or module.

Those errors usually point to a wheel speed sensor, ABS module, or wiring issue common after service if something got bumped. Since it’s intermittent, it’s likely electrical (loose connection, corrosion, or a dying sensor). Power15 should cover it if not caused by external damage. Push the dealer to diagnose they might’ve disturbed something during the spark plug service. If they brush it off, escalate to Ferrari’s warranty team.

What battery do you have and how old is it? The battery even showing in good shape can and will cause errors like this if it is older or looses full charge a little while driving.

Other than that we here on this forum are only guessing. Take it to your dealer or top rated indy Ferrari mechanic.

Not sure on the battery age, but I am taking it to the dealer next week to diagnose the problem. Will update here for posterity after I get it figured out. Thanks!

Been traveling for work and haven't been home to take it to the dealer yet. Will update once I get around to it later this month hopefully.

Thanks for the update. So many times these things don't get updated and when people follow up, helps others down the line. Question, you did mention you had the power15. Sounds like you ended up replacing it yourself, did they not cover this? Thanks.

Since it was so cheap and easy to access, I DIY'd it without submitting it for warranty. From what I recall reading, Power15 wouldn't have covered it anyways.
