the fans know entitlement, but Sky Spew IS entitlement!! chuckle, and the fans love a great driver and gentleman in Chuck.

and Max's sporting comment about the VSC was lovely

I agree, I think Max got a little gravy in the start. He drove a good race tho. Charles keeping those old sneakers alive was good

Norris is getting the rap for the shenanigans going on at McLaren, methink.
Today again, Piastri had one long pitstop because of a "faulty" airgun.
    People notice these things ...

Strange things happen in racing including questionable Safety Car periods. But, that's racing and we should be happy to score a fine second place.

Kudos to HAAS and Bearman as well.

Everyone laughs @ Nascar's green/white/checker policy but at least you get 2 clean laps of racing.
Todays VSC was just nonsense, took away 2 great battles

Edit: And BIG congratulations to Haas and the Beer Man !!

Great job Ollie, and nice job Charles after getting fairly lucky with off track excursions in the first few corners.
Max also had some luck, then got away with another one booting Lewis off a few laps later - never would have stayed on track if he didn't bash into the Ferrari. Well played to him, and great drive on the softs to almost catch Charles.
Exciting fight for the championship between Norris and Oscar.

I notice them too. I just don’t believe the team is conspiring against Piastri. And if they were is it Norris’s fault?

If the car was immobile and Sainz was ok they probably shouldn’t have been out there. Maybe they were trying to keep points off of Piastri.:p;)

So, a 'local yellow' only lasts til the field passes, after that it's a safety car(F1) or full course yellow(most everything else).
    Is that correct?

Lando on another planet today. Piastri clearly not on form at this moment… Championship going down to the wire.

Well done Lec on a solid p2. I’m not sure Ver would have over taken him regardless of the VSC as his tyres were also dead. Either way, we will never know as the RD forgot he has a pair and threw a pointless VSC.

Where did Bearman get this pace from??! Happy for Haas. Deserved driver of the day.

Battle for 3rd in the WCC is really tight - that’s good for the final races. Lots of battles to come.

I think the race officials were damned if they did and damned if they didn't. Yes the safety car gave Charles 2nd place vs 3rd without the flag. And Max summed it up nicely. Lots of good battles in the first and third parts of the race...nice tension during the second as everyone started to take gambles. Glad to see Piastri get it together and drive his way back into the WDC fight.

In Mexico, the stewards had a race.

There were some cars near a track, too.

    I think I just decided that F1 isn't worth a $13/mo streaming charge.

I think Charles would still have held him. Charles has some race craft now and Max does not intimidate him. They both go hard, but fair.

Max had decent pace left in the tyres whereas Leclerc's where absolutely dead. Was very obvious in last sector...Max would've pressured leclerc in there, got a half decent exit and pass him by T1 with relative ease I'd have thought....either way we'll never know now.
