599 Fuel Pump Access Covers?

    I heard a nasty rumor that early 599s do not have fuel pump access covers. Meaning you have to remove the transmission and drop the fuel tank to replace fuel pumps. Say it isn't so!!!!

    NO. you access the fuel pumps by taking off the parcel shelf behind the seats. if you have to replace the fuel pumps, its best to take out the seats as well. getting access is very easy.

    I think the 550 - 575 is where you have to access pumps from the bottom ... 599 is pretty easy access... not exactly easy to get them out but not horrible. do Drain the fuel out. even a little once the pump is out will make the air hard to breath. Keep a fan going as well.

    Tom- Nope, on the Maranellos, you remove a cover in the front of the trunk/boot and the fuel pumps are right there.
