I’m having fun with the GTS! But I’m having difficulty deciding a spec for the Speciale…

 

Conveniently avoiding the questions about a more special 296

 

Maybe that is what they used the STO for maybe not but if they made anything like an STO, it certainly would be a fantastic car!

Back on track: Not sure if it's been covered, but did you guys watch the Hagerty review for the Speciale? I loved how he broke down how difficult it was to make the S-duct esque aero in the front of the Speciale. It appears that it would be simple and function just like the F8 from the surface level, but it does not. Likewise, at the end, Harry seemed like he had inside information that the Speciale was not the final

From a production level, Hagery does a really good job on their videos. I always enjoy the bit of history they often throw in. There's no way they are getting any return on their videos.

 

if 296 is project F171 and SF90 is project F173 what is the project code for this new car? F172?

Was informed that first orders are in. Cars are getting produced and they will build quickly.

Anyone adding the carbonio package to the SA? I can't tell if the winglets are carbon or just painted gray.

 

Just got my copy of the french Sport Auto magazine, with the first 296 Speciale test. They focus on the track test; apparently one of the best features is the new gearbox management (which uses the electric motor to provide blistering changes, while still maintaining the mechanical feeling).

 

Same for me, just the 2nd deposit is a bit higher

 

winglets are only in carbon if you select the WING options
