I think the two tone wheel makes the rears look too small...kind of frumpy. The standard GTB diamond cut are incredible, I agree. If the CF wheels were the newer 849 design, I may order them. I'm leaning towards the matt gray race wheel and maybe a silver painted detail around the outside to match the dreamlines, should I go that route. Key - do not make VS look like C'vette. Slight changes for a nice pair of Cervino with blue touches / blue carbon or Opaco GS on my 296 - fits the car well View attachment 3896459 View attachment 3896460 Image Unavailable, Please Login
I love the white wheels but just feel they'll be a pain to keep clean. Please convince me they're not.
I think the white wheels are maybe the best Option but they just feel inappropriate on a Ferrari, to me.
Color wheels / outer wheel edge Porsche thing - matching body RS graphics in vinyl. Roundel / painted number / stripes / lower dream lines accomplish same in Ferrari the shield doesn't help so eliminating or small shield works. My Opaco GS and wheels are painted same - 296 is small - matching wheels / paint so for me white or blue carbon wheels makes sense - prefer a clean 2-3 color look.
I’ve learned to never say never. Keep an open mind. Ferrari has had all kinds of wheels in its history. The one thing they had in common: they are all round
interesting you say that. Someone else told me to that it doesnt feel they should be on a ferrari. I thought the launch spec with white wheels looked incredible (at least in pics)
Took years to slow down a sea of red from the factory. 296VS I posted is a copy of race livery - the after market world freaks Ferrari owners out like none other. Love seeing the old / new livery on special editions.
