I bought my manual 430 spider 10 years ago, when it was 10 years old.

today I took her shopping for some domestic stuff and here are things I would not have even thought of 10 years ago that I enjoy about the car:

    - physical instruments in an actual font
    - a real metal bezel around the tacho
    - no screen of any type
    - no driver aids to turn off except the manettino
    - no lane assist, no auto stall, no steering wheel vibrate
    - actual connection between steering wheel and wheels
    - no electric or turbo help with the engine
    - no remote unlocking of doors as you approach

and one I did know about:

    - a real manual gear-lever

and, something harder to describe: a feeling of raw physicality which its successor the 458, then alll the rage, does not have

I agree! I’d like to add I much prefer the quad rear lights and side air intakes, makes it feel more Ferrari and more exotic than its successor

I would agree, specially about the quad lights.
