Here’s the well-known Ferrari 166 MM Touring Barchetta cutaway by Makoto Ouchi. I’m quite certain Ouchi used a specific chassis as reference when creating this illustration.

So, the question is: which s/n is actually depicted in the drawing?

Thanks beforehand for any info or insights!

Great! Thank you so much. Are there any articles or links where I can read more about this? Or maybe it was mentioned in a book?

But is your information regarding the chassis number absolutely accurate? Forgive me for asking. I know you're a respected expert here on ferrarichat, so I'm not questioning your knowledge. I'm just preparing a post about this drawing for my Facebook page, so I'd like to be absolutely certain. Again, forgive me for asking.

Compare with 0024M pics and you will see it's the same car (bars in air intake on hood, brown interior trying to make people believe it's original, etc...).
    BTW : 0024M don't have a genuine Touring barchetta's body...

    Thank you very much.

Do you mean the actual body is not original but reconstructed during 1986-89 restoration?

Yes, it lived quite a few years as a Vignale coupé.

Yes, I've already read the history of this chassis. In my perfectionist opinion, this car can't be considered authentic. But who am I to say that a Ferrari with a re-created body can't cost a few million euros? :)
