Hi there , just wanting to know if you need to sand off all the old felt before applying the new flocking or can you just give it a light sand then apply ?

Did you disconnect the bettery on your car during drying process? I need to keep my doors open in order.to cure.

No .. I did not.. I put a cardboard & hard foam wedge in the door jam to keep the button compressed enough to keep the lights off... yet leave the door open enough to let it fully cure...

If you had to use the battery shut-off switch, I guess that is also a viable option.

    Hope this helps....

I did not sand off any old... just clean it good in advance , dab the glue on any bare spots and sprinkle the new over the old and bare spots since it blends quite nicely.
Once fully cured, vacuum off any loose flocking.
