NY requires originals but in the case of 002C they accepted the prior owners DMV title and didn't require the documents that Michael spoke of.

So what about me...? My main machine has German keyboard, so no problem with "ü". But when travelling I use a notebook with US keyboard, normal correspondence is no problem, I simply use "u", but when I want to login to a bulletin board (I don't like to hide myself behind a nick) I have a problem. Must always use WORD (insert symbols) to type my username, and then copy-paste to the login... :))

But if you call me Michael, you should have no problem with searching for the "ü"...

Took Ted West out for a ride in J6. He's doing an article for "Auto Aficionado"
They'll shoot J6 next week and then we're taking her down for her 25K service.

John is in with 002C's nose which is getting close. Should be ready for painting on Wed.

0846, 0854, and 002C will be at WWOC on Sunday if all goes well.

Thanks! When it's all painted and a bit rock chipped from the Targa it will look even better.

    Jim,

Could post a photos of 002C before and after the modifications? I would be interested to see how they compare side by side.

    thanks

As she's heading to the airport the next photo's will be from Boudewijn who's joining us for the Targa. You can find photo's of her 159 nose in the begining of this thread. That nose and her MM nose can be changed back and forth in a matter of moments.

I also prefer the MM nose. It's a beautiful and important car, and I would still prefer it over either of the "P" cars Jim owns, even with the old nose. I would imagine it drives/runs similarly to the 1948 Alfa 6c2300 powered A.M.P. special, which is the closest thing to it I have ever driven.
