Try a valve controller, makes a huge difference with the GTS. I always have them open.

I put a deposit down on Friday for a GTS. I have a Purosangue arriving next month. Supposedly, a customer’s buying history and previous V12 ownership will influence the allocation decision. I’ve bought three new F cars with the Puro being my first V12. Hoping that the F12C GTS is my second V12!

I think Ferrari call 12c convertible 12c spyder, not 12c GTS. Just fyi.

You are correct. My deposit sheet said 12 Cilindri Spider. I have 812 on the brain:)

Have we decided how we refer to this car if we are not italian?

"Dodici cilindri"? "Twelve Cilindi"? "Twelve Cylinders"? "Shrek"?

I don't call the 458 or 812 "quattrocentocinquantotto" or "ottocentododici"!

    I think that we a consensus.[/QUOTE]

12C or 12Cil both work and 12Cil S for Spyder

Spyder spelt with a "y" is the Lamborghini version of the name. Ferrari spell it with an "i" - Spider.

Inaccurate. Italian does not have alphabet "y". They all call it spider. The rest of world call it spyder. Remember porsche spyder?

You'd best tell Sant'Agata then ........ they've been using it for years. I had a Gallardo Spyder.

Sigh. This is a classic example of logical fallacy. Read what you wrote earlier and use google to learn a bit about Italian language, then you ought to know why you are being corrected. Carry on.

I am well aware the Italians do not use the letter Y. It is branding and a model name that was chosen by Lamborghini for differentiation from their near neighbour. I was only correcting your use of the term syder in post#304 in relation to the 12C.

Not sure if anyone has posted the actually unveil. In motion everything makes sense, even the "kia" wheels.

Problem is the McLaren 12C has already taken the 12C name.

The optional wheels are way better than the standard. As for the black bits- a little colored plastic sheeting can change that with no permanent damage.
I’d also like to see light colored car with a nice black stripe on the hood and trunk that integrate the black bits.

The only way around the two tone colors is an all black model.
