    Ferrari had a great tradition of showing the car's serial number on the steering boss. The 430 is the end this tradition? The California has the serial number plate located on top of the dash. 458 italia also has the serial number plate on top of the dash. Is there a new EU rule that dictates where the serial number must appear, in view? In the past some enterprising individuals took blank steering wheel bosses from Ferrari to create newly numbered cars.

    on the 612 and the California the VIN can be found in the bottom left corner of the windshield. See pic of the Garage Monza, Belgium, demo Cali.
    Is 169780 a 458 VIN?
