I was not aware that any 246's existed with alum. doors but some had alum.deck covers and hoods. My "72" 246 has alum. front hood only.

"L" series does indeed have aluminum doors and lids. Good luck in your search.

You may have to look to Japan. They had a very good 206 some months ago, and a Tipo L is advertized in the recent issue of Car (has been there for a long time - I am advised the cars change but the picture soesn't). I recall 16m Yen.

I can't speak about a specific 246 GT "L" which is available in Japan but I do know that when I started looking for an "L" series in 1994, it seemed like a Japanese customer outbid me on several cars and when I passed on a car, I would later discover that it went to Japan. They love their 206GTs as well. I looked at eleven 246GT "L" series cars before I bought mine and I recommend that you hold out for the best one money can buy. Things like straight knock offs and wooden steering wheels are very cool but when the 206 parts ran out, they went with an interim Momo wheel and curved knock offs which also look great. Remember that a GT "L" is an interim car and it's tough to say which parts should go on which serial numbered car. I'm sure they kept on slapping 206GT parts on the car until they ran out - it was probably that scientific.
