Well, it is no longer a GTB anymore. That's for sure.

There is another red one, also lhd for sale in GB, carandclassic.co.uk.
Also on the same website a silver one has been sold in the recent past.( still to be seen on the site)
I like the wheels on both red ones...on the wrong car though.

You know, I was going to photoshop a picture just to see what it looked like, I had no idea someone actually did it. That sucks. I think if it had the head rest humps behind it on the deck lid it would look better. Looks like flaming vomit with the top up.

Bummer they cut up a 77 GTB to make the first one.

Always have the top down offcourse, why bother to buy a open car if you don't...
But Ferrari build some nasty looking stuff themselves too now and then...

A little hump could make a better design, is not that difficult to make too. But the rear deck is allready a little high.

Not necessarily. An old, sadly departed, friend of mine rescued a heavily damaged 308 20 years ago to create a spider. I didn't particularly like the look but probably better than the vehicle being broken for spares.

Most of these conversion were done on a GTS. This one is done on a GTB, so without the strengthened sills. Make you wonder about the rigidity...

Wrong. They don't look good at all. As bad or worse than the TR "spiders".

Hard to take the most beautiful car ever designed and make it look better.

The side profile of the red car really helps me realize just how far forward the passenger cabin is on a 308 and how long the rear deck really is.
